A few weeks ago, someone posted a photo of one golden sitting on another's head. She had to tell the young one multiple times a day to get off the older sibling's head. It made me laugh, and the funniest thing was that the older golden didn't seem to care. It reminded me of Sammy or Sosa standing, totally bored, while the other tried to hump him.
I wanted to show the photo to my daughter, but I can't remember if the photo was on this site or posted by a facebook friend. Can anyone help? It is such a cute photo ...

Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
Can't help you! (and I didn't event see your post until I clicked into "anything goes") Mabye the bump will help.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Thanks! It was the cutest picture ...

if i had to guess, was it maybe a picture of 'izzy and mulligan' who are spirit ted.e.bear's siblings? or maybe it was a picture of angel mackenzie's siblings 'kobe and scarlett'??? just two guesses, you could PM cheryl or kami to see...
charon & spirit gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
I looked in Ted's blog and didn't see anything like this.

Was it a picture of puppies? Because i remember seeing something like that on Facebook, but I don't think it was a tripawds friend that posted it.
If it was grown dogs, there's also Butchey Hudson's mom - they have 2 goldens. Maybe it was on her blog?
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
I don't think it was Cheryl (Izzy and Mulligan). I kind of remember seeing it, too, and I'm thinking it may have been Butchey and Lola. I don't think it was Scarlet and Kobe, but I can totally see Lola sitting on Butchey's head. If it wasn't them, maybe they can read this and do it anyway!

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Thanks for the leads, guys. I will send a couple of pms out and see if anyone will own up to this. Charon, I think I checked out the forum posts for Kobe and Scarlett, but not the blog. If they have one, I will try that. Jerry, thanks for checking out Ted's blog. I looked at it, too, and really enjoyed it. It makes me ashamed that I never finished Sammy's. I should go back and do that. Jackie, what made it so funny was that they were not puppies but two big, grown dogs — one sitting squarely atop the other's head with the bottom dog very unconcerned. Shari, Lola and Butchey sound funny. I bet I would like them.
I really appreciate the suggestions. Thanks!

Beth, I just looked at the photos on Butchey's blog and didn't see what you're describing, but here is the blog: http://butcheyh.....pawds.com/ It's worth reading just the same. Butchey and Lola are nuts...till they put their game faces on. Both are champion rally dogs. (And Lola is a monkeybutt squared.) Watch some videos of Butchey in action. You can't tell he has 3 legs! All newcomers here should watch videos of Maggie Moo, Butchey and Kess to see what's possible. Not what will be, but to see that dogs still smile on 3 legs.
I'm wondering if you saw this on FB. Now it's driving me crazy, too. I will ask my doggie friends on FB. I'm not sure if we share FB friends, but I have easily 20 FB friends from Tripawds so it's possible. I'll keep you posted.

Hey Beth-- I'm afraid I can't help you out with the picture, but I do have a couple pics of a certain golden puppy sleeping on my daughter's head. Sunday is the big day for you, right? Tom arrived on Tuesday-- he is everything I'd hoped he'd be. The great thing about dogs is you get to fall hopelessly in love all over again 🙂
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
Catherine,
I would really like to see that photo ... in fact, show us lots of photos! We get to see Wrigley tomorrow, but don't get to bring him home until April 21. I cannot wait!
I worry that I have forgotten how much work puppies are. How are you doing?
