How often do you trim your tripawds nails?
Last time I went in I asked if they had a three-paw discount!
I had Trouble's done every couple of months, because they didn't take much off each time as they didn't want to have them hurt and her not be able to get around well. I contemplated using a file on hers, but never tried it. It would seem to me if you filed a little every day or once a week, they would stay in pretty good shape.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
You mean a "Pawdicure"?
It depends for Wyatt Ray . We're often not anywhere near pavement (we have an allergic reaction when we see it!) so he needs his nails cut more since he's not scraping them on the asphalt, about every 3 months. We cut his nails too short last fall and ever since he screams like a baby when we get close with clippers. So we recently gave up and paid $15 for a vet to do it (no Tripod discount...boooo!).
