They kicked her out of the hospital because she was acting like Comet. That's the rumor anyway.
So glad to hear all is well. Rest and heal...and you might as well snuggle with Ginger while you're at it!

Wonderful, time to start doing some serious Sudoku, or perhaps some complex Trigonometry equations to get those brain juices flowing! Thanks for the update.

Glad to hear all went well! Hopefully you got some good pain medicine so that you can relax and heal. Take lots of naps with Ginger!
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Alright, so my Dad has been a little slow on keeping everybody updated. He claims it is because he is having to work all the time these days, but who knows. Anyway, for the most part my Mommy is doing pretty good. She did have a bit of a setback last week when she was having some serious pain. But, a visit to the ER later, turns out she has the start of an infection and some inflammation still from the surgery. She is taking antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, and is doing better now. She is still not back to work, but my Daddy and I have to remind her that she had major brain surgery. Thank you all so much for all your support and kind words. It really means a lot to all of us.

Hi Ginger, thanks for the update. You tell your mom we think about her all the time. I'm sorry about the setback but hope she is doing well and back on the road to a complete recovery again. Make sure she is getting plenty of rest and not over doing it. My thoughts and prayers.

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
Ginger, thanks so much for the update. Sounds like your mom has rebounded from the setback. That must have been a little bit scary!
Positive thoughts coming your mom's way from me and Catie and Riley.

Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Oh Ginger legalpants! Your poor mommy! I've been wondering about her! I hope she isn't in too much pain now. That makes me sad but I'm glad she is feeling a bit better!
Will you give her a hug and a pooch smooch from us? We'll send her some extra pawsitive thoughts!
(Note to self: Brain surgery hurts. Be nicer to Lincoln Stinkypants.)
Comet
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
yikes!! glad you guys caught that infection...is your mom remembering the medicinal naps??? we think you need to lay down with her and make sure she takes extra long naps every day....and gives you extra hugs and kisses too - being a nurse is hard work!! paws crossed here in ET that mom keeps healing and there are no more set backs!!
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Sammy and I send many good wishes and prayers to an uneventful recovery. Remember time off is special, don't worry about working or any of it, just heal and sleep. You are in our thoughts!
