I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Pardon me, the title should read "old dog house"

What a sweet story. Having an old dog house is our dream (we've always thought of starting one and calling it "Jerry's Kids"). We just might have to go meet Roxie.

This is a wonderful story. It's the older dogs that have a hard time getting adopted... everyone wants a puppy...
We are opening our home starting next week to a foster dog from Abandoned Angels in NYC. They are overrun with rescues from NYC shelters and need to find foster homes, especially for the older dogs. I told Dolores (who runs the rescue) to send us whoever they need the home for the worst, or would be the toughest to place.
I think they are sending us a girl dog (cocker spaniel) who was kicked and had a broken jaw that was left to heal on its' own. Her tongue sticks out because of it. Here she is... I'll keep you guys posted as soon as we know for sure.
