Hi everybody.
Just wanted to let all my tripawd pawrent friends know that I picked up a new pup a week ago. Her name is Madeline, Mattie for short. She came a long way, from Ontario Canada to Anchorage Alaska and then a 7 hour car ride on my lap from Anchorage to Fairbanks. We are all still adjusting and Mattie is definitely a different pup than Opie, but then new pups are always different than the dog you had before.
Mattie is a golden-doodle and though she is still a baby (9 months) she is showing great promise, and I am hoping that I can reconnect with all the tripawds through her (Mattie is a quad-pawd, however, but I am hoping it will be okay for her to make the occasional comment now and then.
I was going to post a photo, but alas I can't remember how. Maybe later?
Opie's Mom, Nancy
So happy you are ready for a new fur child in your life. Can't wait to see pics. We may have to have you tape a leg up on occasion, just so she'll fit in

I have been wondering about when the new pup would arrive lately! Knew it would be really soon!! Glad to hear she's arrived in Alaska!

Puppies are always so adorable!! Can't wait to see pictures of Mattie!
They have to be "hosted" elsewhere like on your blog. You can post it there then click the picture to find the URL on the webpage bar. Then copy URL, click the little tree picture in the forums when you are posting a reply (next to film image above) and then just paste URL into the window that pops up after you click the tree tab. Insert and then you will get a photo in your forum!!
-Chloe's mom
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Congratulations on the new addition to your pack! It's great to hear from you.
Here are the instructions for adding pictures to forum posts. You could upload the photo to Opie's Media Library, then copy the image file location and paste that in the URL field when using the Insert Image button in your post editor here.

Hooray Nancy! We are so excited for you! We know Opie is looking down just smiling at you and Mattie! He is very happy you have a sweet little girl to fill his void! Opie can never be replaced but at least you have a new little one to love and focus on and spoil rotten!!! Hopefully she isn't as rotten as my little brother Rhys 🙂 ! Can't wait to see pictures of the fur ball.
BTW we think of you and Opie everytime Mom brings out the dog eating machine. Rhys loves that stupid thing. He has made friends with the enemy. When Mom is using the attached tentacle thing he insists that she rub it along his body! Boy is he CRAZY. One of these days it is going to be really hungry and gobble him right up!
Take care and keep in touch! We miss Peyton and Opie every day!
XOXO

charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Oh I'm so happy for you and your new puppy! She is so adorable! Puppies always melt my heart and she definitely looks like a heart melter. I bet Opie's looking down at you now with those big frito paws giving his nod of approval. We can't wait to hear more about monkeyface Mattie! Congratulations!
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
