To my beautiful southern girl and all my friends I met at the party, I would like to say thank you for a great day
Lincolns mom (my very bff) went all out! She said they just came back from the cabin and didn't have time to do anything to get ready but the house and yard were in tip top shape. She had food and drinks out, and big bowls of water for me and my crew. Lincoln and I hung out for awhile on the porch with my new cousin Maya and my Auntie Deborah. We got along great together!
Lincolns new sister Quinlay was something else... that is what I have to explain. She was soft, and white, and very sweet. My mom and my friend Dr. Pam were talking about it, this thing I do. In case of pictures I thought you should hear it from me. Dr. Pam says it isn't sexual at all! It is a dominance behavior.... believe me my beautiful buttercup, I only have eyes for you! Of course I will also have to explain about Rio's moms golden retriever girl, the other black curly haired girl... Zephyr... anyway....someone was joking about "love the one your with", but I swear I was thinking of you!
So Dr. Pam didn't bring Julian, we were all bummed about that. We were very glad to see her and talk with her. I laid by her every chance I got. There was a big play area, and dogs of all shapes and colors, lots with 4 legs, lots with 3. Lincolns mom broke out the furminator again on me and I sat back and enjoyed my time with my bff's mom. I love that woman. There was a guy who was taking pictures of all of us, he was wondering around and trying to get me to pose with my buddy Lincoln, but you know how that works right? There was lots of conversation and relaxing in the sun. My auntie Deborah and Maya played and played with the ball, throwing and running back and forth. We all had a wonderful time, and I thought of my girl and wished you were here.
I can't wait to see the pictures and wish to tell everyone that it was so nice to meet the new pups and their people, and say hi to my friends that I knew before. Me and Lincoln were tighter than ever! He was a little cranky because he had a 3 hour road trip and was swimming most of that morning, but I didn't mind, every time he laid down, I was lying right beside him!
Always your guy,
Sammy

well...we didn't know what 'they say' about west coast boys was true...but, that's ok. we'll just keep loving you from afar, here in the hills of east tennessee. but in case you think of doing any additional 'scouting'...don't forget what happens in all those bluegrass songs when the girl gets scorned...it's not pretty.
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.

Gayle, just wanted you to know Zephyr wasn't scamming on your man. Every time Sammy came close to her, she growled at him! And Tosca was way more interested in her ball than in anybody else at the pawty.
Thanks so much, Lincoln, for hosting. Hope the girls didn't leave too many landmines in your back yard. We had a great time, and today, the girls have the comas to prove it! I don't think T did anything all day today except snooze.
Can't wait to see the other photos…. Here's a couple from us…

Wow, this looks like so much fun!
But Sammy, if you don't take care of your lovely lady Gayle I'll have to go down there and take care of her myself! She won't be able to resist my charm!

Love it!!! The dogs all look like they're having fun and getting along as well as the humans! Thanks so much for sharing.
P.S. Hey riosmom, those pics are fantastic but they take forever to load. Shrinking photos down before posting helps with the load time.

It was a great day Rhonda had a photographer there, a friend of hers, who was mingling and taking lots of photo's. I hope one of us gets them soon so we can post them. Mom never even brought her camera, she remembered how great Rhonda's photo's were, so it just seemed pointless to take her own shots, silly woman.
Mom also said that it isn't up to me, or Tate, who Gayle chooses. It is up to Gayle! So, I am supposed to be polite and nice and show her my best side. It is for my Karmel? ( I didn't know I had my own Karmel, I would have already eaten it had I known.) So, I am supposed to pawlogize to Tate and do what I normally do when I am jealous. I will just stay squished in between him and Gayle and he will never get a chance to talk to her because I will also make tons of noises so she sees only me! Ha! I mean, I pawlogize...
