well, i've finally decided to come out of the 'squirrel nest' and stake my claim for the monkeydog domain known as ET. while my sister gayle was still in her physical form, i was forced to take a back seat (so to speak), and i was pretty nice about it....but now, i'm OUT!!!
i see there's a new monkeydog sister in california, and of course our lord and protector from LV, and not to forget the prince in NY..... and now i've got the southeast locked up - it's like a syndicate of sorts!!
and, now that i'm officially 'on the books', i figure we better come clean about something else too..... i'm not alone. no, we've doubled our presence here in ET, i've gotten a new sister named melanie. she is a vixen...why, i dare say she would give bernie ben laden a run for his money...(ooh, make a note of it, try to set mel up with bernie...might help expand our territory to the west coast....). here are a few pics of the 'darling'...
yes, you can say it...seems sister charon has a thing for the black girls....go figure, but then again, she is kinda cute...
and just to show we really do live together, and i'm not selling you some some 'fish story', here's a pic of the two of us, after we've (mostly mel of course) torn up the yard and house:
so, to recap:
1. squirrel boy has taken over the ET syndicate of monkeydogs, and is primarily ruling the entire SE of the US.
2. assisting is new sister, mel, who has eyes for bernie ben laden, if she could slow her reign of terror long enough to realize it (we call her melanie, cruising for a felony.....)
3. and, as always, we advocate for medicinal naps!!

Mel - you are cute!! I bet we could be friends - but guess what??? I'm going to get to meet Bernie!!! So, watch out, cuz I might steal his heart... You and me might have to have a little cat fight over him. Reeeear. (That's 'sposed to be one of those cat noises...)
Well, this is exciting stuff. We MB's are starting to take over this place!!
And, Sam, wow - you are cute! I know I'm not 'sposed to be flirty or fickle like my big angel sister Abby was... but, oh, there's so many cute boys around here!!! I am sending you a nose-poke.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. OMD! Squirrel Boy, you lucky dog you! What great news! We'll definitely have to make our way down to ET to meet Melanie...cuz we have a thing for black girls too, and Melanie is gorgeous. (Of course, we like black boys, as well.)

All my dreams have come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a monkeydog god! I just knew it! The Monkeydogs now outnumber the Tripawds like.............3 to 1!!!! It's my cousin Squirrel Boy and he is finally here with his own account! And now his beautiful, yet "zany" sister MonkeyMel is here too!

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.

Wow!! Welcome "out" SB and welcome Cousin MonkeyFelonyMelanie!!! We have so many cute GIRL Monkeybutts now that they can have their own pin up calendar , maybe enough girls to fill up like 10 calenders...woowza!!! I'll make mom buy a gazillion!! (My sister Lady aka Chunky Monkey will fill up 2 pages cause, well mom says she's "big boned".)

Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.

She is sure pretty! Finchy wants to know if he can help run the Midwest syndicate for the Monkeybutts. He doesn't want to be in charge of the full midwest, because it will interfere with his medicinal naps that he learned to take with me, after Charon and Angel Gayle recommended them- it was one of the things he couldn't give up after I crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
Yay for more Monkeybutts!!! We are so excited to welcome Felony Melanie to the Federation. She sounds like she will be quite the asset to our agenda of mayhem and general nuisance. And Squirrel Boy Sam, you are too cute for words. We're glad sister Charon decided let you guys "out of the closet."
