I'm slow.  There, I said it.  This senior citizenship is highly overrated.

Please, for clarification once again.....are Farley & Phoebe monkeybutts or monkeydogs?  I'm confoosed, which seems to be my constant state these days.

Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.

Spirit Scout's little brother wants to know if he will qualify to be a monkeydog.  Scout was an only dog, and Tom won't arrive on the scene until late March. That's nearly five months AFTER Scout earned his wings, ergo he never got the opportunity to thoroughly annoy a tripawd. He does, however, look forward to driving his humans crazy.

Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011

Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011.  Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs.  If love alone could have saved you…

I realize that I might not look so threatening NOW, but I plan on taking over (or forming...) the MidContinent Monkeydog Section (as soon as can open my eyes... and use my legs...and stop looking like a fat little sausage, and...)

-Monkeydog TOM

PS don't be fooled by my small size and cuddly looks, I am trouble.  You have been warned.  Wyatt Ray -- I'm guessing you drive through OK on your way to/from TX-- you had better watch out!

OMGoodness!!!  Which one is Tom?!!

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11.  A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

I told Tom's breeder I was looking for smart and a bit naughty-- so Tom is the smart, naughty one!  I quite like the look of the one on the left (the fat one with its feet in its sibling's face).  Let's go with that one-- although they are all so gorgeous.  I cannot wait to get my hands on him!

You can call them all Tom!!

When Maggie was born she was one of two females in a litter of four.   My uncle picked one of them for me and carefully took pictures of the Maggie-to-be every week.  At the last minute my uncle's partner decided he wanted to give me the other female puppy.  So I have 10 weeks of pictures of some other persons pup big-grin.
