I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy everyday with your babies. Enjoy your family and make sure to tell them you love them as you never know when it might be your last or theirs. (sorry for the depressing thought there.). Merry Christmas & Hoppy Holidays from my pack to yours.

Merry Christmas from cold, snowy Southwest Idaho. We wish you and yours the best of everything for this holiday season.
Kathi, Garry, Angel Gus, Angel Murphy, and Ollie the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Happy Christmas from very sunny Portugal
May you all have but happy days with your sweeties (human, canine and feline)

Merry Christmas Tripawd family!
I'm sitting here, on Christmas Eve, with the 2 loves of my life....while the other love of my life is working. We will go to midnight mass when John gets home, where I will reflect and give thanks for the many blessings we have. I never want to take for granted how lucky we are that my warrior is doing well...how lucky I was to have stumbled into this family. Wishing all of you a happy and healthy holiday season.
Paula and Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"
"Be good, mama loves you".....run free my beautiful Warrior
Merry Christmas everyone!!! I'm so very thankful for this other family of mine!
Our kids & grandchildren came over today to celebrate with us. My step-daughter & I are both nurses, so we've learned how to finagle holidays. I'm working day shift tomorrow and she's working nights, so today it is!
Yesterday we celebrated my son's 31st birthday by taking him out for dinner. The past few years we've made it a tradition to pass on some good holiday cheer by leaving a large tip to our waiter or waitress ...what a wonderful feeling to be able to do so!
We had lots of snow here in Michigan, but it's been raining on & off since yesterday, so it's getting muddy now. So we get to wipe off 11 feet every time the dogs come in (only someone who understands about Murphy gets the joke! bahahaha)
I hope Santa brings you whatever you were wishing for!

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

Mona and Eli couldn't wait for their Christmas dinner so they had it tonight. Their special meal consists of canned kitten food. Yup, it's a delicacy and enjoyed by both. Here's a video, a little dark but you'll see tripawd Mona hopping over to give Eli's plate an extra lick, she's not one to waste. Happy holidays everyone!

I love the photo of Santa Ollie and the festive table setting Mona and Eli are enjoying.
I'm not one to prevaricate about how I am feeling - we are not very merry at this house just 8 weeks after losing Pofi so suddenly. But I appreciate this community so and wish you all the very happiest of holidays. With that in mind, some photos of a Christmas outing long past with Pofi and Mia. Happy Yule and Hanukkah and Kwanza or whatever you are celebrating.
Lisa, Minneapolis
On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Oh Lisa! Soooo sweet!! Glad you have these treasured photos to remind you of the joy you and Mia shared with Pofi!
Yeah, the "firsts without" are hard, especially Christmastime. Even if you had tried to "fake" it and act like you were all happy and stuff, we would know better!
You have to smile though when you see these two pictures of Mia and Pofi. Pofi looks like he's adjusting Mia's ribbon for their photo shoot! So precious.

And a late Merry Christmas from California. Like Lisa I'm a little (lot) sad because I had to let my 31 yr old horse go that I had for 25 years. We had many wonderful adventures and of course the real blessing is that we had so many years to have fun. So here is this years Christmas picture and Eddie in his elder years. Love Penny, Keith, Blink, Hank, and Spirit Maggie.
Hope you don't mind Penny, but I copied the link below to Maggie's Blog where you paid tribute to your MAGNIFICENT and truly MAJESTIC. EDDIE!! The blogs go up and down so fast sometimes.
Even in his senior years and with a Santa hat on, Eddie looks buff!!!
A d that's a great picture of Hank and Blink with their humans!! Pretty dogs, pretty people and pretty tree!!
