This was a short walk we took through the park, or as we call it a 'stalk' through the park. Maddie is trying to figure out a new 3 legged stalking the squirrels technique. She's still trying to work it out, but she is certainly doing good for only 1 week to the day since surgery.
Maddie girl you are a STAR!
what an inspirational video - only a week, maddie you are a star indeed!!!
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
OH MY DOG! That is amazing! I love her "stalking"! WOW! Maddie Mae - it doesn't get any better than you!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Nobody tell Maddie she's missing a leg. She obviously doesn't know!

Oh yeah! She'll have her squirrel in no time
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Cynthia, I told my sister the same thing! The only thing holding her back was me attached to that leasg behind her.
I can't wait until Saturday when she'll be off leash.
You are right, she doesn't act like she's missing anything! She just get's up and goes.
Thanks guys 🙂 She is a special girl for sure.
Maddie Mae, wow! She could give Sammy some lessons on sneaking up on a squirrel. He has had one in the backyard forever. He sees it and starts screaming, by the time he hops over to the tree the squirrel has laughed so hard, climbed to the top, and still managed to get 5 trees over.
Good girl Maddie!! Great moves,
Elizabeth and Sammy

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
