A friend of mine took her flat-coated retriever Salmon (a fellow tripawed) in for an exam today in the South Bay...Lisa said you knew Ruthie from this site.  I was just curious who you were.  Lisa was relieved to find that Salmon had a partially collapsed lung from the tumor, which was causing her labored breathing and otherwise was doing well.   I'm not exactly sure but I think Salmon is somewhere around 20 months a tripawd.

Wow, small world this three-legged one. We hope you find out who your friend met! South Bay Area as in California? If you had the name of her dog, or other info we might be able to help search. The Members button above allows searching by Forum username.

They were very nice people. They told me the name of their dog, but it escapes me. I was at Veterinary Medical Specialists in San Mateo, CA, today, about 3 or 3:30.  I want to wish them well and thank them for their kind words of encouragement.
