It's been a while since I posted. The Anniversary of losing MySweetTed was on 30 November and it was bittersweet. I miss him every.single.day, but it has gotten better over the last year. I thought you might like to see a pic of my sweet pup, Joe - now that I figured out how to post a pic! - and hopefully I haven't already posted this...! He is 11 months old here. 80 pounds of long and lanky body and legs and still a big ole puppy. I really think he's got some Great Dane in him. He's super sweet but still has those puppy instincts at 1 year old.... 🙂 Black fur, black nose, black lips, black paw pads, and black nails...with those caramel eyes. LOL. Hope all of you had a good Holiday - I'm sure it was harder for some than others - and you are all well. w

Those first anniversaries are hard. We all miss Sweet Ted.

Sweet Ted has been at the Bridge a year?? I DO still feel his presence here. I really do! Honest to goodness, everytime his bsnner pops up it makes me smiie and it's as though he's right here with us.
And that picture of Joe (love the name) is PRICELESS!!! OMD! That bone structure! He is Runway Model .material!! He is soooo handsome Wanda! I remember him as a puppy who had yet to grow into his big paws and long and lanky legs! Looks like those long lanky legs are growing proportionally and will always be....well....long and lanky! 80 lbs! WOW!!! He was maybe 20-25 lbs in May? Of coirse, he's STIL a puppu, vut he looks so Regal in that photo!!
And those eyesse, those beautiful CARAMEL eyes! Stunning! There's a lot of wisdom residing in those Soulful eyes...And a lot of mischief too!! Ted sure did send you the perfect dog to make you laugh and love again.....and that makes Ted so happy
Keep us ppsted AND with pictures on Joe!! He is a very special boy to is! He has a lot of extended family here wanting to follow his adventures! 🙂

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
haha. Well if Ted sent him then I guess he decided on his opposite!! Seriously, he is a sweet boy - training a puppy is much different than healing a broken soul. Both are good experiences for me - and I'm lucky to have gotten two very sweet souls. He loves to sleep on the couch and the big oversized chair, he is beginning to win over the cats very sloooowwwwllly..., and he loves the fireplace and standing upon the hearth to get warm. Crazy, silly dog. I do love him and he's come a long way since we got him almost a year ago.
I'm glad you are doing well and surviving this freezing weather.

Oh Wanda little Joe got to be big Joe right quickly didn't he? He's beautiful! I shouldn't be surprised because puppy Hank just grew up to be grownup Hank in the blink of an eye here too. It appears both My Sweet Ted and Mighty Max are quite good at knowing what we needed to help heal our hearts. Our Max will be gone two years on January 18th and it doesn't seem possible. I will always remember your Ted and I'm so glad I got to meet you and Joe at last years party.

Wanda, he is beautiful! It's a little sad when they lose their "puppy looks", but it's great to see the beautiful mature soul they grow into. Hard to tell from a photo, but it looks like he's gained confidence from when we saw him last May.
I always smile when I see Sweet Ted's banner pop up - I hope he and NItro are best buds at the Bridge.
Paula and Warrior Angel Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Oh Wanda, he is beautiful! I doubt I would have recognized him as the same dog from last summer. Definite confidence gain from last summer - so obvious from his direct eye contact.
I hear your pain on the puppy brain in a full grown dog body! Roxy just turned two and is still as much puppy as not.

Wow how time flies! We heard from Wanda the other day, who shared these totally adorable photos of Joe! Some are from his puppy days, and the rest are of him now as a grown up doggy. Thought everyone would enjoy seeing how this boy is all growed up 🙂
