Great job Charon. I love to knit but can't get the hang of socks. Or anything that is supposed to be the same size from beginning to end. I do make pretty nice scarves though 🙂

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

rhonda, you picked a rainy day to visit tennessee. chattanooga is about 2 hours south of us..in fact gayle's 'don' is in chattanooga this week (and the past two) for work at a bank near there... the 'natives' think of knoxville and on up to bristol, as being 'east tennessee'...staying in the smokys... chattanooga is too metropolitan....

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.

Sorry we're coming late to this pawty... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LINCOLN!!! Mom says we live in the land of Lincoln - so does that mean we live in your backyard? You and I are almost the same age - I turn 9 in 3 weeks!!! I think I'll just pawty from now until my b'day to celebrate all of us tripawds!

Gayle and Charon - Yes indeedy, it is raining like crazy here. I just saw a flood warning. Hopefully I can still get home on Friday. Other than that, I'm really enjoying it here. Lots of very nice people and great hospitality.
