Today is Lincoln's 9th Birthday. It was nearly seven years ago that I picked him up from the humane society, and since then it's been quite a ride. There have been many moments where I questioned if he would even live to see this day.
When we got home this morning, on our front porch was a gift from Tennessee...Gayle and Charon have been busy making us gifts. For some reason even I got a present on Lincoln's birthday. How great is that? I got fancy socks (which I'm already wearing).
Along with thanking Charon and Gayle, we want to thank everyone in this community for the amazing support we are always given. I am constantly overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness and generosity of everyone here. Thank you, thank you, thank you - for preserving my sanity, for the constant encouragement, and for the wonderful friendships.

Happy Birthday, Lincoln! You will enjoy the juju toy Auntie Charon sent. My guys love the one she made Trouble. It does have a boo-boo so now I have to monitor the play so they don't rip all the stuffing out!
And mom will really enjoy those special socks. I wear mine all the time. I just love them. Oh, and I'm really jealous that you have a better camera and/or better skills than I do. Those pics are great!

Happy Birthday Lincoln!!
I hope you had a day filled with toys and treats.
I see the toy, I assume there were appropriate treats. I would give the pugs extra treats but they are already sacked out, so maybe tomorrow. Around here we celebrate birthday months so you still have a few days to party.

Happy Happy Birthday our Superhero Lincoln!!!! You are amazing and you look pretty darn cute in those pictures - the juju ball and socks are simply magical (take it from someone who knows), not to mention that your Mom's socks look pretty striking against your red coat. We will be celebrating in your honor, Lincoln and wish you the BEST BEST birthday ever!!
Sending you lots of golden hugs.....
Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Hey! cool stuff for a Stinkypants dog!
That's swell of Sister Charon to send you some of the magical healing socks and Gayle's juju ball! Fears be gone, you have the m-a-g-i-c NOW! (and they have the power to pick the right lotto numbers, too! I'd be rich but we don't have lotto here)
Wow are those Ruby Swirl Red? Those are super cool!
Happy Birthday, you stink-a-roo!
