Okay, be warned, this is a short 10 minute take by George Carlin. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, his lyrics are quite expicit. For those that have recently lost their loved ones, this might not be appropriate. I love his humor.
Fortis'Dad
But you could never replace Fortis with another [g*d damned] indentical dog! You will have to replace your pictures!
Can you imagine me trying to find another dog that looked like Comet????????? Hey petfinder.com - where would I find a dog with a leg that never bends?
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
You got me there. As usual, you make me laugh Ge'Lena. I will most definitely replace my pictures if time should ever ask of me to do so.
Absolutely not! There is only one Comet and I can assure you that she will be very very safe when her journey here comes to a close. Fortis will see to it!

That' right because she'll be sitting stuffed in her shrine we'll have!

Wow. I don't think I have ever heard his "work" before. Some stuff had me laughing, lots of it had me smiling. Some was suprising!
I think I will always think of the term "crotch hound" when I met one now. Thanks for the post

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Carlin cracks me up! I read one of his books awhile back "Naplam and Silly Putty" or something like that, it was hysterical. My husband has the bit about the 7 words you can't say on tv memorized ("tits shouldn't even be on the list, it's such a happy word, sounds like a snack....")
I didn't get a dog that looks like Sadie, but I got another tripawd (so he looks like Sadie in that respect) Can you imagine going to the pet store with THAT request?
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

"Tippy was definitely not a monkey!" lol
Thanks for the laugh. Here's another George Carlin favorite which may be offensive to some that we posted upon his death, may he rest in dog damn peace.

OMD! As Opie would say, "BWWWWwaaaaahahahahahahahahah." Every time I see or think of George Carlin, I remember when he actually came to Fairbanks. He performed in the UAF auditorium, which is about as big as today's average high school auditorium. I was within the first ten rows and defying doctor's orders after a surgery. There was no way, I was going to miss it, though I paid for the pain of laughing the next day. Comedians have such incredible minds and most are half crazy (George Carlin, Robin Williams, Dom Deloise, I'll stop now as I have just revealed my age.) Opie and Mattie's mom
