Ok, I'm bringing Betsy in to the ER vet tonight, but with that said, seeing as though she's my first girl dog, maybe I. Overreacting, but considering I don't know her medical history, I'd rather be safe than sorry..
She was spayed on Saturday. Incision looks fine, was closed with surgical glue. It's not red. Not warm. Maybe a lil puffy? But she laid down and there was discharge on her bed. A red clear sticky non smelly discharge. It didn't look like it came from the incision. There was some on her paws and back legs, on the back of her legs, not inside..Couldn't really figure out where it came from. Can girl dogs get their period post spay? She's had a little runnier of a poop. But that could be from diet change.
Sorry about the non cancer quad pawed post.. Il update later, just seeing if anyone else experienced this at all...
Oh my gosh Lori I had no idea, here we were talking in the chat! Of course you can ALWAYS come here to post about Betsy, I'd be sad if you didn't! I'm not sure what it could be but better safe than .... well, she'll be FINE. It's probably a seroma . Let us know oK? Hugs to you and Betsy.

Hey guys!
No worries rene.. There were more important things going on today. .
Looks like a mild case of bacterial vaginitis? Antibiotics for a while. . No biggie big girl wants to keep my nerves working I suppose. .;)
Oyyy..lol
Is there a way to keep the vajayjay so fresh and so clean? This girly dog schtuff is all new to me.
Sadie had this problem (one of a host of issues) when we got her. I am sure they gave us something for it...but once she adjusted to her new life, was reliably housebroken, had a routine, and was eating good food, it all sort of straightened itself out. Which is not helpful, at all, I am sure Except to say sometimes stress and change can make things like thappen or worsen.

Oh Lori! Just saw your post. So glad all is well.
You make me L O L ! "How to keep a vajayjay clean?" Geeez.....hmmm.....how bout......I have no idea how to keep a St. Bernard's vajayay clean!
Was she spayed at the shelter the dayyouicked herp? That poor girl as ndeed had a lotto adjust to. If Meganis right, then stress and change seem tojave caused this.
Yeah, this is real different from dealing with puppy boy balls!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
lol. Kind of what Megan was saying. It's probably just stress induced on her fragile immune system at the moment. Once she gets settled, her immune system will pump up and be taking care of these types of things. 😀
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.
