Howdy y'all !!!
I just wanted to check in to let you know I've been away for a bit because my dad had a debilitating stroke on Feb.4. I've wanted to get caught up with everyone, but alas, I have so little time trying to help Mom help Dad.
I still very much care for everyone here and hope to be back in the mix of things as soon as I can. So please know I think of y'all every day even if I can't be here on the site.
Love to all! xoxoxo

Awww...thanks Pam! We all love you and certainly understnd you've had your paws full!
YOU take care of YOU right now, okay? You are such a giver, so compassionate and you have great empathy for others. The only challenge in having those beautiful qualities is that you often don't take care of yourself while caring for others.
It's certainly not an easy time for you right now. I know one thing though, your Dad is very proud of his daughter and couldn't have asked for a better one!
PLEASE take care of yourself, okay? In fact, you have to promise the Tripawd Community something eight now!! PROMISE you'll do someting you really enjoy in the next twenty four hours! Whatever it may be..perhaps eating a bowl of ice cream while curled up with a good book...a massage...yeah, that wouod be a good one...heck, maybe even just making time to take a nap while lostening to some soothing music. Okay...you promised! Yeah, we all heard you!
Sending the very best wishes to your dad's continual recovery.
Let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help. We are all family.
Love and group hugs. ((((((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))))

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Hi Pam,
Glad you checked in with us, and hoping your dad is healing each and everyday......I can relate to the strokes with parents thing, for sure.
Besides agreeing with everything Sally said, I will keep you, and your family in my thoughts and prayers, and remember to take care of yourself....
Love,
Bonnie, Angel Polly, and new crew
You've been dealing with a lot of stress so don't you worry about us here. We'll be here when you have time. You just focus on your dad and helping him heal...oh and don't forget to take care of yourself as well. Make sure to have some chocolate and wine (or beer if you prefer...) when you have a quiet moment to yourself.
I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts!

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
Thank you so much Sahana!
I also wanted to add that Harmony's tag came in yesterday and I hope to get a picture posted soon. It's not quality (the pic) but if you could see it in person you would be in aw of Rene's craft. It's just lovely.
. . . heavy sigh . . .

Much love your way sweet Pam!!! I was just thinking about you over the weekend and voila... a post from you!
I hope your father continues to heal... I can only imagine how tiring that is for all.
And I'm with Sahana... take time to relax, take care of you and enjoy lots of wine (or chocolate) or BOTH (*if you were w/me).
Hugs and love!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
You are always a part of this community even when you're away. First things first, keep that pawsitivity flowing around your parents and tell them that the entire Tripawds community is cheering for your Dad. May he continue getting stronger with each new day.
