Jill's grandpaw and grandmaw went to the racetrack today (not something I completely agree with, but to each his/her own!) and there was a horse racing named Jill! Of course my father had to place a big bet on her, as we're all rooting for our Jill right now!
Well....ding ding ding! Jill the horse ran her BUTT off and came in a huge winner and paid my dad back for all the help he has given me for Jill's surgery!!!!!!
I am so happy! My parents have been so generous with their help, so this is just great!! PLUS I think this is a REALLY great GOOD LUCK sign! Jill's a winner!!!!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. "Like" Jill's facebook page: https://www.fac.....tty?ref=hl Proud member of the WINTER WARRIORS!!!! Her blog can be read at http://jillsjou.....ipawds.com. xoxo
I love this! Such great news! It's fabulous to have supportive parents, isn't it? It's great they were so handsomely rewarded. YES! Jill IS a winner! We all knew it before the horse race, too. Congrats!
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Yay Jill the horse. Glad she paid off and paid your dad & mom back for you Good sign for Jilly too
Sassy is a proud member of the Winter Warriors. Live long, & strong Winter Warriors.

Wow, that's really cool! Yay Jill!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Yipeeeeeee! Go Jill Go!
Talk about a sign from the Universe.
When is she racing again?

A good sign indeed, and a win for all involved! As I mentioned last night in chat, I want to find the horse named College Tuition and place a bet. Let me know when you find him.
Even if you don't like horse racing (and neither do I), it's obvious that Jill has a special pair of grandpawrents. That's another win for everyone.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

When I first saw the title of your post, I thought it was going to be about a tripawd horse named Jill. I thought to myself, how the heck could that even be possible. Ok.....so I had a blonde moment.
Your parents sound like very kind and loving people. Its great that you have family that loves Jill as much as you do.

Definitely a good sign!!!
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end.
