I would have embedded this but can't figure it out (don't have the patience right now).
I put together some of the photos I took with my pretty girl yesterday and a (probably too long) bit of video of her snoring and made this snapshot video. I wish I'd taken more, but I was trying to live the moments and not just document them. I'm not skilled at this stuff, and I apologize that I don't know how to trim the portion that is video, so bear with me there. Overall, however, I think it's sweet and I hope you enjoy - all of these are from Izzy's last day in her earth clothes - sure wish I could see her pretty wings!

Momma to the world's most beautiful American Bulldog, Izzy!! Lost her front leg to OSA 9/18/15. Diagnosed w MCT in June 2016. Celebrated her 1 year ampuversary with knee surgery on 9/18/16! MCT recurrence in Dec 2016. Happy & hungry til nearly 14, earning her wings on 7/31/17.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Amy & Angel Izzy,
I just watched your beautiful video through a lot of tears and loved every second. What a beautiful love story you two share and those pictures say it all. You are just loving her up and comforting her all the way home. I love how peaceful she looks in your arms and cannot imagine a better way to go for any of us. I have been thinking about you since I read the last blog post and wanted to thank you for sharing this sweet tribute.
I know Sally nailed it there is no way your warrior princess has anything but huge feathery pink wings! Big soft ones that she would fold around her Mom right now.
I hope that you will continue with your blog and share more stories about your girl, I loved seeing those puppy pictures I could almost feel that wriggly little puppy body.
Please know that we are thinking of you and Izzy and wishing your heart healing.

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Oh Amy how beautiful. I love this video. Brought tears to my eyes. You can see the contentment Izzy has laying by you. She will show you signs that she is ok.
My heart breaks knowing my friends have to see this side of the journey.

Oh, I love the wings!!! I will have to get some photoshop skills going ... there are several photos I wanted to get of Izzy but never had the right "props". I think some pink angle wings will make a good start!
And thank you, Rene, for fixing the video. I was going to just post the share link but kept trying to use the "insert video" button in the controls ... now I know. It took me so dang long to figure out how to get it in a useable format and, because it was late, I was overtired and am a bit daft, I wasted time trying to figure out how to get it in the cloud ... duhhhh YouTube!
I will definitely add more to the blog - there are SO MANY Izzy stories to tell! But first, I'm going to go on a little vacation and get out of the house. I'd planned to go this past weekend - it's a birthday trip and my actual bday was July 27, but the stars aligned and I decided to schedule it for this coming weekend instead. I nearly cancelled - I thought Izzy would still be around and with her being a bit compromised, I didn't want to go and had actually planned an Izzy trip to visit her boxer boyfriends and have a (very early) birthday party for her. As we know, Izzy was just too tired so she let me know it was time to start her REAL vacation.
I promise that I will share all the wonderful stories of her last hurrah and more but for now, I will take a short break, get a change of scenery, etc. Maybe when I get home, her empty bed won't feel so sad.
