So proud!!! Saturday is what we call "Grady Day", and he's usually waiting by the car starting at around 5:30am. We normally go out around noon, but since his amp f2 months-ish) his "Grady Day" has been pretty limited. He's normally pooped after a stop in the pet store, where he hits the Bone Bar pretty hard, then he crosses the street, pees on the court square, and happily gets back in the car. Then we drive to the coffee shop or for a burger, and he happily lays around getting stranger love. It's gotten a little longer each week but today...no driving. He put in just over 1.5 miles for the first time in about 6 months!!!! And he was still going when he got home!! I'm sure he'll sleep like a baby tonight, but he didn't even want to "take a break" when we offered Here's hoping he'll be in fishing shape come spring
Yay, Grady! Fishing! That means swimming!!! Whoop, whoop! What more could a retriever ask?
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Grady that is so neat! That sounds like a pawfect Gradyday to me. I'd love to see a pic of you at the bone bar!

Barret was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma May 16, 2013. Front left leg/scapula/pectoral muscle was amputated on June 11, 2013 and we've never looked back. Follow our story on http://barret.t.....pawds.com/ and read my column on That Pet Blog
