Tess is soooo adorable!! I am just so happy for you and your new little monster love ......can't wait to see more pictures. She sure is one beautiful flat coat that will grow up to be beautiful like her angel sister Ruthie (and my flat coat Keoke ) And I always thought that goldens were really flat coats in disguise! Congratulations on your new addition to your family.

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Awe, Pat.she's adorable! Ruthie would be proud 🙂 have fun!

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

oh she is even cuter in person....we are just waiting for her to get a little bigger so she and tank, uh, Whiskey can play without him stepping on her and breaking her!!! We tried to intro them too soon we think, but the time is coming soon when they can run and play and enjoy growing up together.....
Diane .... .... tank ..... haaaahhhaaa!! She'll keep him trim once she gets running with those long lanky feathered legs ! How great is that that you and Pat - and "tank" and "tess" - have each other to run and play and enjoy growing up together ?! Awesome.

Thanks everyone, but I find it hard to share puppy joy when most of you are still fighting the battle.
We can always use a good dose of puppy joy! She's so adorable. Congrats! I'm very glad Tess and you have found each other.
Proud mother of Max, an 11-year-old Border Collie mix who was sure he was a Real Boy.
Diagnosis of osteosarcoma of the left rear leg and lymphoma in February 2010.
That annoying leg was removed April 7, 2010 and was never missed.
Max left for the Rainbow Bridge on July 29, 2010 and is now running free. We love you!

NO! No! No! We have to have happiness, fun and joy! Laughter and happiness is always the best medicine! None of us want to wallow in misery! Oh my goodness, I did that before I found tripawds and had to deal with Comet's ongoing ailments all the time (not cancer, I know but still).
So, everyone take note: We want to see puppy and new doggie pics and hear all about them. We already feel like we are apart of it all! Not wanting to show off the new baby, big or small is not what this site is about! (I know I speak for Rene and Jim on this matter.)
So, when were old and greyer, I still plan on posting with new adventures whether I have a tripawd or not. (and whether anyone likes it or not) - I'm here to stay!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Amen, Cometdog !

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Ditto Comet! We can't think of anything better than to share the love of Dog here. New puppies are always welcome to the Tribe!

I am glad you shared the announcement about Tess. She is a cutie. For awhile I have not been on tripawds because it got so hard to read of yet another one of furbabies at the rainbow bridge (except Capt. Jack on his dock.) I know that it is important to be able to share our stories to new members facing a scary situation.
I need to also hear the good news and the celebrations. Yes, you will love Ruthie forever, but God bless you for bringing Tess into your heart and all of our lives.
Debra & Angel Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
Oh how adorable! She is just too cute! Congratulations to you and to Tess - we can't wait to hear all about her puppy adventures!
Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!
