Well last night we went to class just expecting another advanced class. I knew that the instructor was planning on testing the 2 small dogs in our class because 1 would not be there the next 2 weeks. Well come to find out we all were going to test. She said if we didn't pass this week we could retest next. pshhs not a problem these 2 passed with flying colors.
I was kind of worried about the greeting a stranger (Snickers likes to sometimes kinda jump when she gets excited) but that was no problem at all. So this next week of class will be the graduation for advanced obedience and pictures.
Yay for my 2 girls. I know Sassy had a hand in it. I was kind of nervous on the supervised separation too they passed that with flying colors too.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Of course, Sassy always smiled in all her pictures so I guess you learned how to grin ear to ear from her! And I do believe......yep......I do believe I see Snickers and Jasmine smilin' too!
I'd love to hear more about some of the things Jasmine and Snickers had to do to graduate. I can't imagine asking dogs not to move while their human leaves the room. I bet you are just bursting with pride.....I know we all are,!!
The other dogs in the pics are cute two....but two Rottweiler Puppies side by side.....doesn't get any cuter than tjat!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

The Sassy necklaces go everywhere with me. Only time I don't wear them is when I shower & sleep. Keeps me close to her. So the Canine Good Citizen test consists of healing by your side, sitting, down, coming when called, greeting a stranger, greeting a stranger with a strange dog, the 3 minute separation. I know I probably am forgetting something but it was 100% worth it.

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
