Just got back from the doctor. They removed my stitches, and said the biopsy report shows that the C is all gone. I will need to have a check up every 3 months, and that is fine with me.
Thank you to everyone for your well wishes and support. It's really wonderful to have an extended family here at Tripawds. Now I can focus more on those Monkeybutt type trouble makers! LOL.
Cathy
Wonderful news, Cathy. So glad to hear the worst is behind you.
Three month checkups are good. As they become confident about your prognosis they will become farther and farther apart. My mom goes to MD Anderson for checkups and has been annually for many years now - 20+, and this year they moved her to every three years. Once you're in the MDA network, they never turn you loose ;). Don't get me wrong, I think that is a great thing.

So happy for you! Somehow everyone around here must've sensed good news was coming, because the butts have been wiggling all day! (Not mine; the canine ones...)

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
