Here's the deal.

When I was a little tike and just got my new home with my mommy and daddy a couple of years ago, mommy and daddy seemed really sad and wouldn't stop talking about "Rugby" a shepherd mix they had just lost suddenly to a cancerous tumor on the heart.  I wasn't sad because it was great news for ME!  I know that's mean, but think about it!  It worked out great for me!  I got a new home!  My mommy would look at me and wonder whey she didn't wait until another shepherd came her way. But she said Comet needed someone and mommy thought a smaller dog would be better for her.  It was all about Comet.  Now, it's all about ME, monkeybutt!  YAY for me!

But that's not the deal.  The deal is, no one let me on tripawds until like a year later! Well, much to my dismay (yes, I know big words!), I found out that my angel sister Cometdog was talking behind my back during that time!  I was snooping around on the old blog posts and found all of these old post that Comet had written talking trash about me!

I found the very first post Comet wrote telling the world about me, her new brother!  I know you dummyhead tripawds will cheer the post but I cry foul!  I couldn't defend myself because I didn't have an account!

Comet wrote the following in which she is consoling another dog named Wolfie after he lost his brother, Jake to cancer.

Poor Wolfie.  It’s not easy, I know.  Been going through it myself.

On the bright side Wolfie, at least mommy and daddy didn’t rush out and bring home a 6 month old terrier-poodle mix like they did with me! They are so annoying! They have a bone chilling shrill play bark, not like the big dog play barks we love!  I’m telling you, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard!

His name is Rocket. (Yeah, real cute name, Mommy and Daddy. Just because our names are cosmic, doesn’t make me want to live in the same universe with him!)

Did I mention, Wolfie – he’s got the ugliest hair – it’s not even fur! It looks like a dirty rag mop!  I get a chuckle when I see Mommy *try* to brush that tangled mess and he still looks ugly!  I have kitten fur and get compliments on how soft it is!   Bet you do, too!

Plus, he’s got a Monkey butt!   Hey! Mommy and Daddy, why didn’t call him, ‘Monkey Butt’ instead??  That name would fit him better!!
How much fun would that have been at the vet’s office ….”Monkey Butt, your next.” —–  BAHAWWAAAHA!

So Wolfie, I feel your pain.  But just remember – it could be worse…Mommy and Daddy could bring home a ugly MONKEY BUTT!!!!!!!

Cheer up, Wolfie!

Comet
(I may only have 3 working legs, but I don’t have a MONKEY BUTT! ——BAHAHAAAAWAAA)

Ranger

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

But look at you now....King of the monkeybutts! By the way, when girls like boys, but don't want to admit it, sometimes they make fun of them instead....just sayin'.....

And, in order to be king of the monkeybutts, well...someone has to call you a monkeybutt, right? About the shrill bark, well, that's just plain annoying wink

Wow, yourself Wyatt!

"When a door closes a window opens!"  I came through that window like a monkeyfly!  Unlike you, you came through that window barking your head off and it shattered!

Plus, Comet started the monkeydog war, not me!

So… Monkeybutt… are you looking for sympathy? Cuz, as you know, you are shrill barking up the wrong tree. If you want some sympathy cuz Comet called you (accurate) names, you should have sent a PM to Samson, or one of your few Band of Monkeybutt Brothers cuz you aren't going to get no sympathy from no tripawds. No sireee!

Face it – Comet had you pegged. She was just calling 'em like she saw 'em. (And like she smelled 'em.) Even if we gave you the benefit of the doubt that you weren't a total Monkeybutt back then – you sure are now. You own that title. You revel in it. When someone looks up Monkeybutt in the dictionary, there's a little picture of you.

Now stop whining and go back to doing what you do best – terrorizing tripawds.

Kisses, (I only say that cuz I know it makes you crazy.)

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Well MBBVP....I shared my house (yes MY house) with an old Dobe named Red, after she crossed the bridge mom and dad took me for a ride. I thought we were going to visit one of my pawrents friends. When we got there, a skinny scrawny shivering brown spotted dog was brought out into the yard. Well, being the perfect gentlemen that I am (at least in strange territory), I did my best to completely ignore her. How dumbfounded was I when I got back into the car and they put that scrawny spotted thing in with me! Whoa! Hold On! You have GOT to be KIDDING! I gave her my best stink eye from across the backseat hoping she would leap out of the car and run back to where ever she came from....but NO! She rode all the way home and THEN they brought her in MY HOUSE! Can you believe it?! I stood on my bed and curled my lip. I stood over my bowl and curled my lip. I stood over my toys and curled my lip....and yet she stayed. That was the beginning of having to share my mom and dad and MY HOUSE. Then she went and got hit and lost a leg. Oooooo- look at me ...Im a tripod. Like she didn't get enough attention. That's why I use her for a cushy butt pillow. I put my Monkeybutt right on her head.  Bahahahahahaha!

Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.

Hey MBBVP - I've been around. Always on the lookout, with my pink cape, for Monkeybutt nonsense.

If you did write a post about me, it would be about how pretty I am and how much you love me. 🙂

Face it, I am irresistible. You short little dudes, you go nuts for us long-legged girls.

Kisses!!!

Hey F.E. Butt Boy,

Just so you know, your sister the beautiful and very smart Angel Comet consulted with me regarding that post. At the risk of breaching Cometdog - Legal Pants privilege, suffice it to say that I told her as long as she told the truth that you could not take any legal action against her. Consequently, she was just telling poor Wolfie how terrible you were in the beginning. Of course, it has gotten no better, as evidenced by your terrible picture you posted.

Super Pal Samson -

You know Daisy Doodoo that whole tripawd (TRIPOD) thing on purpose!  On the upside, it is less brown spots you have to look at!  But I feel you pain.

As for you GAG-LP

Comet was mean.  Really mean.  I should have sued her......for just, you know ......being mean!  But oh, she was a poor 3-legged, deformed, handicapped tripawd that had to hop instead of walk.  Feel sorry for Comet.  Waaa!  Waaa!  She has a stick leg. Waaaa!  Waaaa!  Her teeth are crooked.  Waaa! Waaa! Her jaw sticks out making her mouth not shut right and water falls out of mouth. Waaa! Waaa!  I got no sympathy around here for her being mean to me!   She was the Nellie Oelson of 'Little House of Tripawds'!

Angel Cooper.  I'm so scared.  She me shaking?  NOT!

Bring it on Mini Cooper, bring it on!  I'm bigger than you....for at least a month and then ..........you'll have a fatneck too!  Bwahahahhahahahahahahahah!

ScAbby, you make my monkeyhead spin sometimes!   You are such a tart!  And I don't mean as in "pop"!  Sheesh!

Ha - I bet I make your monkeyhead spin! With my cuteness!

And I am not a tart... pop or otherwise. I'm just ... friendly. To quote Ado Annie from the musical Oklahoma! (yes, dogs can be fans of musical theater too!), "I'm just a girl who can't say no."

"Kissings my favorite food! With or without the mistletoe, I'm in a holiday mood!"

KISSES!
