Ok wait a minute…..there is spellcheck?????? Where????

It used to be next to the "HTML" icon.  Poof!  it's gone!    I can't even get Google spellcheck to work on an open post anymore.

Kami,

Do you want me to make a video on how you've sucked at posting in last 4 months????smileysmileysmileysmiley

Oh I am so glad that was posted at Kami and not me  - LOL

Truth be told - I have been incognito too since I got Riley's biopsy results back...so I soooo understand crying at the drop of a hat....

I have to tell you - since Rileys hair has grown back almost completely, I "forgot" one morning her front leg was gone and when she turned around and I saw her missing limb - I burst into tears.....I was doing ok getting her through the amputation part and the first 45 days- but now for some reason its all hitting me really hard.....

But I gotta say - even though I haven't been around - I am really glad you are all still here......

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry.  But don't be a stranger.  Seriously, it helps to talk about it and you'll feel better.

I can't imagine what it would be like to without a leg after seeing it all those years.   I can ONLY imagine.   But I know it would be hard.

It was hard for me to see Comet when she had Horner's Syndome the year before she died.  The left side of her face was drooping, it didn't look like her so I'd make a point to try to look at her from the right side.  Thank goodness it got better within a few months.

I know all of it is just cosmetic but a leg is part of who they are.

That's understandable, totally. It's not easy, but over time you'll cry less. My Mom looks at pictures of me now back when I had four legs and she thinks I look weird as a quadpawd!

Hugs coming your way. We'll always be here for you!

yeah, sure, four legs are great... but to me, gayle is more beautiful today than she's ever been.  she radiates bravery, courage, strength and love - inside and out.  she is perfect!!

I couldn't agree more!  I felt the same way about Trouble.  Trouble adapted so well, I never even thought about her on four legs again. She truly was perfect in every way as far as I was concerned.
