Well Rocket your timing couldnt be more inpeccable... I had just sent a pm to Samson stating that I am resigning as Leader of the Legendary A.M.B.F.... as I told Samson my pack and I love all dogs quadpawd or otherwise and I joined this A.M.B.F as a means of spreading some much needed humor to the many members here that have had such heartache.. maybe I did get a fathead - all I know is everyone used to seem to really like my dad and I - now I am not so sure. As I told Sanson it is difficult at best to day after day come up with "nasty" rivalry that is in keeping with GOOD humor. I joined this A.M.B.F thing when the precious Cometdog was alive and accepted the post as commander when she so sadly left us. I would give a million dog treats to have precious Comet back and feel a little liked again. I used to hear from a lot of good old friends and not so much anymore - yes a fathead maybe I have gotten. I have already apologized to Samson and I apologize to the rest of the group - the A.M.B.F is a good thing to make crying people laugh - I am n ot a good enough dog to handle the burden.

Angel Cometdog here. The burden of A.M.B.F. leader is a tough role. In my early days, I would get scared and vulnerable but I had Spirit Opie and my best side kick BFF, Holly to keep me brave and on the right track! And then there was Mackenzie, prettypants and Ginger, legalpants and of course, Fortis - who made my heart flutter who kept me happy and on the right track!
I gave you this task because I knew in your heart you didn't hate any Monkeydog but you would be brave and keep them in line as I departed. You would stand tall and proud and represent the Tripawds around the world as they should be represented! Fearless and good!
It was my time to resign since I wanted to be with Opie, Mackenzie and Fortis (and my old pal, Rugby). It is not your time to resign. You are being put to the task by the monkeydogs. They have found a weakness, knowing your love all dogs and are going to exploit it!
You have your sweetie, beautiful Isabelle, Sgt Pepper, Daisy, Dakota, The Cow, Ginger Legalpants, plus others to guide you. Plus, you have all of us here in doggie heaven to give you strength (when we aren't playing ball! We have a swell team now! You'll never believe who just got a triple! Tri-pug Maggie! Now we call her Tri-pug for other reasons!)
I told you I would watch out for you and would have your back and would come back only if you needed me. I'm here now to remind you, the Tripawds need you. They need you more than ever since there have been too many earthly losses this year.

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Hey, any chance Gus is on that ball team, I figure he would be a pretty good power hitter as strong as he was, he might even be good at stealing bases as fast as he was also!!!!
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
Gus is our ringer! But he started chewing tobacco! (must be a farm boy thing)
