In honor of Monkey Mattie being "Displayed" today!
Spirit Samson was Spirit Tripawd Daisys four legged "brother" and ruled as the self proclaimed head of the Monkeybutt Federations East Coast Division. Lady Chunky Monkey stayed from Oct 2011 and left for the bridge in Apr 2012. Miss Perdy is left and has some big pawprints to fill.

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

But do you know what? You're not going to believe this, but I didn't get displayed. I was pretty disappointed. My mom took me to this place and this man looked me over (I think he may have been a talent scout) and he told my mom that I wasn't hot enough. I was very insulted and hurt. He kept saying I need to have more heat. He was saying that if I were his dog, he would wait for another heat before displaying me. Harumph! The up side is (and I can't even believe this could be possible) that I am going to get even hotter than I am now! Can you imagine how hot I will be after I heat up more? I am going to be sooooo beautiful by the time I am displayed. It is hard to wait, but you know that timing is everything in show biz. I'll keep you posted.
PS. Monkeybutt, he told my mom to be very careful, however, because the boy dogs will definitely notice when I get hot. Don't worry, though, you are the only boy dog for me.

Mattie loves Monkey Bunny and I'm old enough to be Mattie's Great Great Monkey Uncle! She was just celebrating Monkey De Mayo and having a beer and looking for the bathroom (I think- my mom said high school Spanish was over 30 years ago-geesh, she's older than dirt!)

oh uh ok so let me get this straight SamsonIQ007.... while you are old enough to be Matties Great Great Monkey Uncle... and presumably therefore mature enough not to carouse around with her... and yet at the same time you are not mature enough to let unfortunate tripawds who have had their share of tough breaks live in peace........ yessssss something indeed smells fishy in Denmark and it isnt coming from Mount Pleasant. Tell you what why dont you give your mom something special for mothers day today and be nice.

Sorry I'm late to the party. My mama started a new job and has ignored me all week. I don't get belly rubs for hours now and she didn't let me log on. I'm thinking of eating something important to show her.
Anyway, Mattie you need to know that waiting for more hotness really is worth it. I waited and look at me.
I know you will never be as hot as I am, so don't bother trying, but good golly see what a pro can do?! The other benefit to waiting for being displayed is that your "Obnoxious Factor" will be as huge as your hotness. I don't know what that means, but my mama says mine is really big. She tells everyone I meet that I am a PITA and I think that must be a good thing because it has initials. So wait as long as you can. Be hotter and more obnoxious and try really hard to get to the magic number that makes you a PITA. Then you'll get a lot of attention. Yes, I know you have done a lot of damage in your short life. But has your mama screwed sheet metal into the walls you've eaten like mine has? That's the goal!

And yes, I gave mom something special for mothers day....last night I only took up 1/2 the king size bed instead of my usually 3/4. Dad appreciated that too as they usually only get 1/8 each... so there!
PS- If Tripawds did not have Monkeybutts to keep them on there 15 toes they would become fat, lazy and dull AND you wouldn't have some fancy smancy "AMBF Leader" title.
PPS-Which by the way I see you no longer have on your avatar so perhaps that torch has been passed to another??
PPPS-"Unfortunate Tripawds"??"Tough Breaks" ??? Be sure to keep living in the here and now old Coop, that smacks of self pity to me. Very un-dog like. We all have had our share of hard knocks in life- even me. I have a deformed hip socket on one side and scarred torn cruciates in the other back leg, front wrists the size of tangerines that will only bend 12 degrees due to osteoarthritis and I have been on a special diet for 13 years because my body forms stones in my bladder. BUT I have a wonderful family and a stinky brown spotted tripawd to keep me company so life is good!
