What a day for bad weather! I hope all of our fellow tripawders are okay.
It's the worst tornado outbreak in years! E. Tennessee and Atlanta GA is getting pounded now.

It's been a weird couple of weeks, that's for sure. We've been blessed enough to have not been hit with tornados, although there were a few confirmed within just a few miles of us. I live just north of the Ohio River and work in a building that is literally one block south of the river. You wouldn't believe how high the river is. Our parking garage has about three feet of water in it!
I certainly hope everyone else has dodged the bullets the same way we have.

well, nobody got hurt.... we did lose a tree, a bird feeder, a garage door window and a garden ball... speaking of the garden, it is now shredded from golf ball hail, and the yards are covered in downed oak leaves and limbs....but the important thing is - nobody got hurt. what an adventure!!!
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.

Wow, crazy weather. I'm so glad to hear that everyone is okay out there. I won't even complain about the rain here!!! Obviously, it could be a LOT worse!
Take care, all of you!!! Be safe,

Was thinking that myself, hope everypawdy's safe and snug. We don't have a TV so we're only hearing the reports that are on the radio and it sounds bad. Glad you're alright et.
Be careful out there guys!!!

Adventure – is that what you call it? The pictures I've seen on another forum looks like the hurricane damage, but at least we have time to evacuate. So happy all are safe!

Shanna ... my thoughts on seeing pics of the storm damage was that it looked like a war zone! Et Gayle .. we are so Hoppy to hear you are ok our thoughts were definitely with you!

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
Thank goodness! I wondered if you even had power.
A big shout out to the weather channel for their great coverage yesterday! They called it every step of the way.
A big bomb to CNN who didnt cover it at all and talked about "the birth certificate" while the storms were causing utter destruction. Today, they act like they were so on top of it! Boo to them!
