Isn't is GREAT when you go home and the sheer joy of having you back in the house sends your dogs into a frenzy (even if you have only been gone a few minutes)? Isn't it EVEN BETTER when you're recent tripawd starts to get his sparkle back?
Well I think it is I just stopped home over lunch and Barret seems really good today! This is how good:

That's right, a 20 lb, 3 legged dog who is still recovering completely knocked me over and slathered me in kisses I still have a smile pasted on my face. The best part? My DIY nanny-cam setup caught the action so I could share it with everyone
Here's a picture from last night, he was buzzing pretty hard from the drugs, but not in pain.
And here's one from lunch today. He props himself up to sit. I guess his remaining front leg is still sore. He sits like this most of the time, it's pretty cute!

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
The last pic is my fave. So, so cute!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
And I can't stop smiling either.....grinning ear to ear is ore li,e it!! I. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this part of the journey when the sparks starts coming back more co sistently! And captured o. film folks!!
This will be a great Recovery 101 for other tripawd parents whose ups started out with a bang....then the expected crash....and then the bang coming back!! Such great picture journal.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
