Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Aww… Fortis is such a big sweetie! And finally, a glimpse at the elusive Mr. Wilson.

That is one BIG boy! He has such an expressive face. Love him!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
What a great video! Fortis is a big love – love his face – makes me want to hug and kiss him! I think I might have missed the sneak peak of Dad though- oh yea, he was the one in the sleeping bag with his face covered . Once again, another great video from Smarty Pants Productions (CC Cometdog I think you're missing your calling!)
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Fortis, I've never seen so many sides to your pawsonality, you are quite the dawg. And enlightened too . . . I'll bet you've read all of Tolle's books!
Great job Comet, you put a big smile on our faces over here. That song is GREAT by the way. Is that Dean Martin?

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

I love FORTIS! He's like a life size Teddy Bear!
I can't believe you guys didn't see that Brett has a big head like Fortis!
For those that missed it…

Yes, Jer – that is Dean Martin. I have an eclectic taste in music from Devo to Dean Martin! Brett's probably wishing I didn't and would have stuck to his instrutmental yawner! - (Just teasing Brett! I'll be happy to do it since I dropped pictures due to time constraints and my desire to make it happy. )

So I went from "Aw, Fortis is so sweet and lovable" to laughing my head off at the comment about people looking like their pets. Well, Daisy and I do have similar color hair . . .
Great video, CometDog!
Daisy, 12 years young, had left forelimb amp on 5/19/2010 due to osteosarcoma. She left her body behind and joined the other spirit tripawds on 7/16/2010.
So grateful for each day with her!
