We were just out for well you know a little scenting and a hey to the neighboring pups, Clancy and Humpboy. Then suddenly this beautiful rainbow appeared and well as goofy as it may sound I just felt overwhelmed thinking of all the brave tripawds who have passed just since Fortis and I have come aboard and had to try and get a shot. I know it's not the best photo but it was a moment for me and my boy that I felt compelled to share.

My thoughts and Prayers are with all the tripawds that have passed and the families that loved them so dearly!
Beautiful picture, beautiful sentiment.
Run free, Angel Tripawds.

Cemil and mom Mary, Mujde and Radzi….appreciating and enjoying Today
How beautiful - now when I see a rainbow I too will think of all of our angel tripawd heroes. Thanks for sharing this....and so glad that Fortis is still on this side of the rainbow!
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Oh! That is a grand picture!
I don't see rain in my parts, so rainbows are so seldom but when I do, I will also think of our furbabies.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Fortis, Jerry sent that Rainbow your way. It rained here today at Jerry's Acres.
Stunning photo, really! I could see it winning awards somewhere. Thanks for sharing, and peace to all our Tripawd warriors.

Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Awesome picture, you have to capture those when you get the chance. Sure made me smile.
Dhiannon (Zeke's Mom) & Zeke, a 7 year old male Bullmastiff, front left leg amputated on 7-12-2010 due to a joint tumor. Zeke earned his wings on 8-13-2010, we will miss our big boy forever! We love you Zeke!!
Fixed your title spelling Mr. Fortis AND to keep from scaring us all with your title, I changed it. "Fortis" and "Rainbow Bridge" doesn't make for a good title!

Making me cry here ! and, yeah, you scared the heck out of me, too, with that title.
Anyway .... it's true - I will never be able to look at a rainbow the same way again.
Run free Angel Tripawds and your pack-mates !

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

Tasha and I were out in the truck heading to Denver, Co. with her dad when I first saw the post on my phone and tears immediatelyfilled my eyes, I thought oh no not another one of our heros has lost their battle. So so happy that wasn't the case. The pictures are beautiful, thanks for sharing.
