I confess I've been a terrible mother lately. Poor Rosie has had to suffer all kinds of mental anguish from being left at home to doze on the couch (or the futon, or the papasan, etc) while I abandoned the fur kids in favor of overtime at work. There's just not enough bacon in the world to get past that grudge, but SNOW, however, wins them back everytime. So on my one day off this week, up to the hills we went!!!
Hope everyone is having a great week and that spring is sprunging somewhere near you!
Cheers.
Kat
What great pictures! Seeing how well Rosie's doing gives us great hope! The brindle mastiff in the picture is so much like our Baby, my husband thought it was an old picture of her. Incredibly twin-like.
Enjoy the snow and sunshine (perfect combination)
Wags and Slobbers,
Judy and Baby
Those look like happy, non-grudge-holding pups!
Great pics.
(Your brindle mastiff also looks so much like my "nephew", Leo. Gorgeous!)
Jackie, Angel Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
What a beautiful pack you have-- they look like three very happy pups to me!
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
Kat your photos get better and better! What fun.
What a good dog mom you are. They understand you gotta do what you gotta do. Making the most of those precious days off is all they want, and you've done a great job meeting their expectations. Nice!

Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
