Otis would steal any food left on the counter, and Tess would stand patiently waiting for him to retrieve it so she could share.  The moral of the story, of course, is we never left food on a counter.  Once, a package came and was left on the kitchen counter.  Those two retreived the package, ripped into the cardboard shipping box, tore through the plastic wrap sealing the package, and then ripped into the metal container to eat the english toffee inside.  After Otis lost his leg, my daughter thought it would be ok to leave food on the counter since he only had three legs.  He showed her very quickly that nothing gets in the way of a dog and unattended food.

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

Hey auntie Clare 💙

I like the sound of that, a statue of me sounds quite cool 👌🏽 but lonely too 😶

I would prefer a statue with some of my dawgie and kitty friends, all of us posing nicely 🐶🐮🐱🐱🐮🐶

Thank you for noticing I am elegant 💃🏽

Mom has got me on this gruesome regime 🤐 as Kelvin the oncologist pointed out (all the time) I needed to loose weight ⚖️ to make it easier to run around on 3 🐾

So now I run faster than before 🐾💨💨💨💨 and Mom gets so excited she always laughs that happy laugh of hers everytime I take off 🐾🌪🌪🌪

Hey auntie Norene 💜

I'm SO glad you are enjoying our travels and I am sure Harmony, Kinky and Farol are watching it all from the sky, giggling together and looking at how happy I am with Mom 😄

Hey auntie Sally 💗

It is such a pleasure to share my travels with you, I am absolutely sure we would have the greatest fun if you were physically here 👍🏼

It was a shame Mom couldn't risk leaving the car and taking me inside, you would be amazed at how incredibly beautiful everything is inside the fortress walls, Mom cannot stop herself and has to tell everybody who wants to listen (and everybody who doesn't) how outstanding this is 🎙📡🔔📢

Hey auntie Christine ❤️

Well, not all of us dawgs nick food 🤐🍗🍖 😷which is not to say we don't want to or can't smell it ...

It would have been interesting if me and Farol would have met Otis and Tess, either they would learn from us girls not to do it or we would learn to do it 😛
