Hi everypawdy,
My mom is looking over my shoulder right now. Wow Cooper, you did sooooo good coming down the steps. You made my Momma cry those happy tears. She says it is so amazing to see the tripawds go up and down steps. That was one thing that her and my pop never had to face with my brother Spirit Opie. Our house is little and just on one floor. No steps inside or out. You really are a trooper Cooper. I think that will be my new name for you Trooper Cooper.
Lots of Licks and snuggles
, your friend, Mattie.
PS. Very good job posting the video.
AAAgggghghghgghgh, Spleck, Hack, GGssshhhhhhhhhhhhh, EWWWWWW. I think I threw up a little in my mouth. Ouch! That was really hard to do. My mom was watching me. Oh man, I am going to have to go to therapy for life to get over that one. UGH. Monkeyutt, have you ever had to do ANYTHING like that?

Look Look Coop! The monkeybutt – King of Monkeydogs is getting soft. Look at this post he made earlier today. I even had to correct his spelling. What a softy!!!!!
They can't handle the heat Coop. There definitely on the run now. I bet Maddie is back in jail.
Just wanted to send you my best, too for Sid.
It's so troubling when they have skeletal issues along with being a tripawd.
Don't be surprised if he is just sore and goofy from the anesthesia. I think when they are getting xrays, they twist and pull them around like rag dolls. Every time I look at Comet's xrays, I often wonder how they contorted her like that!
Comet has always been sore afterwards and I've seen the anesthesia stay in her system for a few days.
Good luck!
monkeybutt
Has he ever had to do that! Look a what your little softy leader monkeybutt posted earlier today and might I point out on his very own accord. I think your being set up Mattie. Monkeybutt is working the other side while your out there doing his dirty work and doing nothing but making enemies. Take my advice little person, and be sure of who your friends are before it is to late for you.
Fortis
Woohoo Cooper! You are looking good coming down those stairs! I'm so excited for you. We don't have stairs, and Troble still has difficulty trying to navigate steps - stairs would really be a challenge!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

I'm sorry Mr. Coop. I let those Monkeydog tactics distract me for a moment. This is your thread and an important one at that. This video shows just how far you have come and in such a short time. Considering how rough of a start you had and how scared I know your folks must have been, it should be celebrated and not trashed with my post defending our cause against those nasty Monkeybutts. Your a superstar pup, and the fact that a big boy like you can navigate those stairs and so soon after your surgery really is quite amazing Your da man Coop!
Fortis and Dad
Monkeyutt, have you ever had to do ANYTHING like that?
Yea, like now. Comet ratted me out to mommy.
I'M SORRY COOPER FOR MY MEAN COMMENTS. GOING DOWN THE STAIRS IS VERY HARD AND IT TAKES A LOT OF COURAGE. YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELF.
There.
I'd write more and come after you Fortis but I'm in time-out and am only allowed to post, I'm sorry to Cooper.
(but your butt is still fat, Cooper!
)
That just bought me another hour in time-out but it was worth it!
Fortis - you owe no apologies whatever. I loved what you posted and was laughing so hard because it was what I was going to post, you are a good friend and it would take a whole lot more to ever offend me and the pack!
Heck for that matter - I just love what EVERYONE is saying here - even the mean stuff, the fact that I am enjoying myself over all the tomfoolery is proof in itself of the good in this group.. a month ago my pack and I thought we were saying goodbye forever and there was no laughter. Only tears. Now we anticipate Christmas with a joy that we never believed we would for a long time to come.
Thanks for the compliment Trouble - you are a huge inspawration to me!
Mattie and Monkeydog, thanks for all the nice words, I believe you really meant them even if your mom was looking over your shoulder when you did it - I actually concider the both of you to be friends too - sometimes friends are for poking fun at - it keeps the blood circulating! Hoppy hoppy weekend to everyone! and I will talk to you all later!

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
Cooper, that's great! Sadie had trouble with stairs when she had 4 legs (bad hips and a fused spine.) Luckily, we only have stairs in a place she never had to go. I love seeing tripawds do the things they did with 4 legs. Just shows that the 4th one really was just a spare!
Now, lets keep the good vibes going while the jailbirds (I mean jaildogs) are enjoying some solitary confinement
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Thanks Sadie33! I am so glad I found this place, it truly is the club no one wants to join , but I sure dont know what we would have done without it!!

Oh, don't go and get all mushy!
I am not getting any thank you's for getting monkeybutt in trouble!
Fortis, I still love you but I do think that these other boy dogs are still really cute! I mean, look at Cooper! He's like a giant fur teddy bear! Who could resist him? As far as the others, well I'm just trying to make them feel welcome! What's a girl dog suppose to do?
Am I explaining too much and now I sound guilty??
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
