Ge'Lena,
I can't tell you how special your tribute to Fortis is to me. It has some of my very favorite pictures of him. I could not get through it without tears but then I can't get through much of anything right now without tears.
Friday nights, especially a three day weekend like this one, were most exciting to me because I knew I would have extra time to spend every moment by Fortis' side. But it was not the same when I headed home on this Friday. Honestly, this has been a tough night for me but watching your video has lifted my spirits a bit and I must admit the one with comet on his forehead did make me smile. He was so tolerant and always happy to please his mom and dad.
I agree with everyone else....a wonderful, beautiful and perfect tribute to my hero with a special soul who warms my heart every time I think of him. Thank you and Comet so very much!
Fortis' Mom
I agree too.
A beautiful, loving video.
And my tears are flowing like that river.

That was beautiful, Comet. My favorite picture was Fortis checking out the bug in Brett's hand. What a gentle soul. He will be missed by all... and your tributes always choke me up. At least Holly enjoys licking the tears off my face.
Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

It was the perfect song, for the perfect photos, for Mr. Fortis the Fighter. May he rest in the Elysium fields somewhere across the Rainbow Bridge. He was certainly a Hero to all of us here.
Thank you for sharing Fortis and his incredible journey with us.
-Nicole and Chloe
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
You are welcome Fortis' mom. It was very hard to make through the tears. But I needed to do it. (er, I mean Cometdog needed to do it! )
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Ge'Lena, you have been there for me since day one. I was always able to count on you when my spirits needed lifting or when just needing to talk. You helped me make videos, post pictures and even acted as my personal spell checker. But more than anything you made me laugh. You have been a true friend. The video has special meaning to me because of how much I know you loved Fortis. I wish you could have met him.
Thank you
Brett
