Here is a pic of the coat I made for Polly, (the blue fleece is just a reg blanket after surgery) when she got sick with Immune mediated thrombocytopenia back in Oct 2007. This is NOT the pic I was hoping to post, however.....Polly was having her very last surgery here, on Jan 30, and only lived a little over 2 weeks afterwards. But anyway, she wore the coat that morning because we had a good amount of snow and it was very cold....I then used it to keep her warm once she was sedated for surgery, and out of surgery, I used it for a pillow for her. I am still hoping to find the better, happier pics of her in this coat, and her bright yellow Mut Luks....she was so beautiful all dressed up for the snow every winter!
Love,
Bonnie & Angel Polly
Awwwww. You can really see how much comfort it brought her, what a treasure. Thanks for sharing!

Awwwww Bonnie....this is such a picture of love......that's what I see in the pictures. And, most importantly, tnat's what Polly felt!
Talk about "snug as a bug in a rug" You've got a side line busy right here Bonnie!
I KNOW Polly felt like she had your lovng arms wrapped around her and that made her feel safe. Yeah, she's "sedated" but oddly very content looking.
Polly is such a beautiful, beautiful girl She just oozes with gentleness.
Look forward to seeing her in her fancy wnter coa! My Hapy Hannah's coat is "blubber fleece"!
LOVE!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
YAY! I'm so glad you found a picture. She was such a little love, there's sweetness all over that picture. I LOVE the fabric you used!!!! Im not a sewer but I've been in a few fabric stores and dont remember ever seeing anything that cute. Can't wait to see the picture with the coat and boats, if you can find it. Dont get upset if you cant b/c I can picture it. Just would be fun to see. Thanks for sharing Bonnie. You're such a loving doggie mama!!
Claudia and Angel Jersey Girl (Asking me why SHE never had a coat so cute! I told her 'because you lived in southern Califiornia, silly girl!'!)
Good answer to Jersey Girl about the coat Claudia!! You know her "thought" bubble was, "How come you didn't make me a bikini then?" I suppose your answer would be because you took her to a NUDE BEACH FOR DOGS!!
