Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I was just checking in to see how everyone is, I haven't been on in a while. Bailey is doing very well..seems to forget once in a while that she lost a leg because you catch her trying to scratch her face with it, or runs down the stairs and slips a little. She also growled at a dog at the pet store who was sniffing where her leg used to be..she never liked that leg being bothered so I'm assuming that is why. But she is getting along great! Fur is ALMOST completely grown back 🙂 She also had her first Christmas in a home (last Dec she got hit by a car and was in the shelter), Santa was very good to her this year!! Hope everyone is doing great!!

Hooray for Bailey being home for the holiday this year!

Sounds like she is doing very well. Thanks for the great update. Hope she has a wonderful 2012!
Jackie, Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
