Just wanted to say "Stay warm!" to all of my Tripawd friends living in that nasty, snowy weather. Be careful and watch yer step.
Spring will be here before you know it!

Freezing! You silly mild weather boy!Freezing is -40 wind chills with 50mph gusts off of snowy Lake Michigan, on top of lake effect snow that was supposed to stop two hours ago! My nose sticks together when I take a breath. Not to mention my pee freezing before it hits the snow! Hope everyone stays warm the next few days!
Isabelle
I'm with Isabelle. We are about 100 miles South of the Chicago Loop, and although the waves from Lake Michigan didn't get all the way to us, we did get about 18 inches of snow and the wind chill is going to be 30 below tonight. My Daddy says Wyatt Ray 's pawrents are the smart ones. As the song goes, when it gets too cold, you can just get in the big dog house on wheels and "go where the weather suits my clothes."
i cried for all the stray pets and humans last night. it was 19 degrees here in Houston, with a 15 mph wind that makes it below zero.
every time i thought about the cold weather, pictures of kittens and puppies came into my head and i was really disturbed by this.

ritables,
I think those thoughts too. For me, it helps to send out a prayer for them and think of good energy going their way.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Freezing, and even living in Canada I had no prior personal experience with it until this very week, is square tires. Are you truly freezing W.R.D.? I don't think so. But you are welcome to visit anytime. Your room is ready (yes, you can bring your pawrents). And we have enough snow in the yard, or on the roof, that you can hide and your pawrents will never find you.
Your pal in Winnipeg
(p.s. poor Wyatt was only trying to be sympathetic!)
Well, we certainly didn't get the worst of the storm up by us, but just to further emphasize how good Wyatt Ray 's pack has it (haha): http://gerry.tr.....ckle-snow/
Best wishes to those south and east of us who really got smashed!
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
