I saw this article on Facebook by Dr Karen Becker. Talks about bone marrow transplants. Pretty amazing stuff but only being done by 3 places in the US and pretty expensive still
Here is the article

You give us links to the best stuff!
Yet another kernel of hope.
I also clicked on the interview she did with Dr. Turesky about carcinogens in dry food with cooked poultry. The link says "dry food" down at the bottom of her article in her bullet points.
Thank you Michelle!!!!
Love ya'!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thanks Michelle. Dr. Becker forgot to mention another clinic who is doing it, VCA West Los Angeles.Their chief onco vet there, Dr. Johnny Chretin, has been a guest with us a few times.
I would have commented on her post to let her know but did you see the vicious comments in there from dog 'owners.'? Geez I would have been bitten more than once I'm sure. Here's a sample:
As a very devoted dog owner, I consider it extremely cruel to put any dog through this sort of ordeal.
I wonder how many of those who said the same thing in the comments have ever had a dog with cancer?
I will let Dr. Becker know via Twitter.

Thanks for posting this Michelle, it is really interesting and involved. I was somehow hoping this was a possible break-through treatment for hemangio-sarcoma as well as lymphoma, but no such luck.....I am really encouraged by so many seemingly successful canine cancer treatments that are coming along for many different canine cancers, and really making great strides, but still waiting for one for ugly HSA.
And Jerry, I completely agree with what you said in regards to this "devoted dog owner", and ever having to deal with canine cancer. I also wonder if she had a child battling cancer, would she/he feel the same way. To each their own, I guess, but I will do what I can, to help my dogs fight ugly canine cancer.
Love,
Bonnie, Angel Polly, and new crew
I saw those comments. I didn't say anything because of the attacks that would have happened. I would do anything to help my girl or any of our furbabies again.

I feel the same way, exactly.
