It's been a while since I've posted because it's been busy around here! This weekend I moved out for the first time and into a house with my best friend! Domino and Finn are taking things fairly well, but Domino has stuck to me like glue since getting here yesterday. The best things about the new house...? There are zero stairs, not a single one!!! And, most of the house is carpet!! So no more rugs and runners for the most part. The new house also has a bedroom just for the dogs 🙂 It has all of their crates and elevated food dishes.
It's a big change, and kinda scary. I've become very close with my mom over the last few years and have really delayed moving out (I'm 27 for crying out loud lol). But I'm excited for what the future holds. My best friend that I now live with is also a huge dog and animal lover, and actually was with me at last years East Coast Tripawds Party! Shortly after that party, she loved it so much she rescued a dog of her own!! In the last year and a half we've gotten really into watching dog sports and competitions (agility, flyball, rally-o, dock diving etc) So much so that I have other big news! We're adding to our current pack of 3 amazing well rounded dogs... and both getting Border Collie puppies!
We're getting sisters, they were born on August 17th and will come home in about 6 more weeks! Some people think we're crazy, and that's just fine lol. We talked for a very long time on if we could handle it, and we're more than ready 😉
So I'd like to introduce you to.... "Tonks" (the merle in the pictures is the sister that's going to my best friend)

Domino had his left front leg amputate on May 13th 2014 after being hit by a car. He's now living a happy healthy life on three legs :)
Oh my goodness, they are adorable!
Congratulations on moving out! It's a big step, especially these days. And nice that you have a friend that you're close to that you can share the experience/responsibilities with!
Yes, you both are probably crazy for adding to your pack, but we all are around here! lol What's a couple more?

PUPPY BREATH!!!! PUPPY BREATH TIMES TWO!!!
So happy for you both on so many levels! New beginnings! And you and your Mom clearly have a wonderful bond regardless of where you live! Hate to say it though, she's probably already turned your bedroom into an extra storage room
You two are going to have THE best time with ALL yiur pack! And I was one of many who had the privilege of meeting them at the Trilawd Pawty! Can't wait for the next one next year! You two are really gonna have your hands full! Domino and Finn will be great role models
Gosh, after seeing these adorable pictures I'm surprised you were able to stop at two!!
Lots of love!

Well of course you are crazy, doesn't that go without saying for most of us here?
Congrats all around on all the changes in your life!
And Tonks' markings are very close to my puggle Elly, except Elly has more black spots. They are adorable!

Update! We've now been in the new house for about 2 weeks. My roommate came home a week ago, so we now have all three of our dogs together. My dogs love their cousin Ziggy, especially Domino. Domino is loving having carpet instead of hardwood, and loves that there are no longer any stairs to use! we're settling in to a new routine and all is going mostly well. My big boy Finn has not been taking the move well and had to be put on Prozac to help ease his transition. He's finally but slowly settling in and we have gone 1 1/2 days without too much anxiety or problems. On a happier note, I've been having trouble with Domino's bowls forever. I have to feed him with a puzzle bowl because he inhales his food. He had an elevated feeder but it was a regular double feeder that the bowls dropped down into, so his puzzle bowl had to sit on top of it, which means it frequently got knocked off and made a mess. Well, thanks to my mom and step dad, Domino now has a completely custom elevated feeder that his puzzle bowls can sit on and not fall off!! He loves it, and I love not having to clean up food off the floor everyday lol. The new member of our family comes home in 4 short weeks, I can't wait to bring her home! Below are some pictures of Domino and Ziggy playing, Domino's new elevated feeder and the most recent picture of the newest addition. Hope everyone else is well!

Love the feeder! Really neat that they were able to design it for you.

I know it feels good to be in your home with all the dour leggers, three leggers and two leggers. It's certainly an exciting time and I'm sure Finn is feeling, some of the stress all the .oving created. It's hard ro believe that great big cuddle bug that we met at the Tripawds pawty is having anxiety issues! He'll settle in soon.
Obviously the adorable Domino is having a blast with cutie Ziggy! The pictures are precious!
