At first glance, he doesn’t look particularly dangerous. This is intentional. He wants you to think he’s cute and harmless. He wants you to be unprepared when he finally strikes.
It is pointless to attempt bribing him. He doesn’t want your offerings. He wants only one thing – to destroy whatever belongs to you.
He is without conscience or remorse. He cannot be negotiated or reasoned with.
He is watching you. Sizing you up. Analyzing you for the slightest hint of weakness.
His name is BERNIE BIN LADEN…
…and he will soon be raining death and devastation on Northern California.
He stands less than two feet tall, and weighs only sixty pounds. In spite of this fact, he is responsible for more destruction and misery than two world wars, the bubonic plague, and the music of Lady Gaga combined.
He has a sister named Linda, who is nothing like him. But do not expect her to help you. She wants his plans to succeed. Because if he’s busy annoying you, that means he’s not doing anything to her. And she thinks that's good.
You have until Tuesday night to fortify your defenses, evacuate your cities, and hide your sandwiches. As of Wednesday morning, Bernie bin Laden will be on the move.
LOL! We will batten down the hatches here in Washington, in case the havoc can reach across the borders... Much luck all in N. Cal, it sounds like it is time to "duck and cover"!!

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
OMG, what a great tale. Linda looks so sweet and well Bernie, he just has that look. There's a lot going on upstairs in that there noggin of his and by the sounds of it it's not all to conforming. Funny, sounds a bit like me when I was his age (in human years) My kinda of dog.
Have fun in N. Cal.

Bernie! You are getting a raw deal!
Maybe your bad boy rep is because you are being compared to sweet, "I do nothing wrong" Linda!
I haven't ever tasted a camera before, so maybe you ate one because cameras taste like chicken! And maybe torn up seat belts in new vehicles will be the rage in the future and be considered "designer"! Look at torn up jeans! Who knew?
Take a stand Bernie!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
He definitely looks like he's busy plotting something in those photos - haha!
But, I'm not sure how you can ever stay mad at that face for long (despite the cost of the eaten camera!)
Zack, King of Dogs, 1996 to 2010
Zack lived a full 14 years, even to the end.
The joy and memories he provided us will last a lifetime.
Surviving him is his sister, Izzy, a 12-year-old boxer mix quadpawd.
And the latest addition, Zula, an 11-month-old pit bull mix tripawd.
That is a dog on a mission all right ... just look at the determination in his eyes. You can tell his sister has been harassed into submission. I'm just saying ... I'm glad I'm on THIS side of the border !

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

HAHAHAHAHA ROTFLMAO!!!!
Upon getting the call to go to work
MY dog sits proud as I stand at attention
I salute my director
Place my hand back to my side
Then I say in a PROUD and STRONG voice
"Mr.Squishy, reporting for duty, Sir."
Bernie!! You sound like my kinda dog!! Woo Hoo! Let the mayhem begin!

Well, I have to admit a little bit of surprise. Two days on the road now, and Mr. bin Laden has only given us heart failure once. That’s some kind of record for him – almost an improvement.
We left Orange County Wednesday morning, and slogged through the nightmare that is L.A. traffic until we reached the more agreeable realms of Ventura County. We did our usual stop at San Buenaventura beach, where leash laws are posted but usually ignored, and let the dogs out for a stretch. Not surprisingly, Bernie took that opportunity to gnaw on his favorite chew toy…
Then it was over to the nearby In-n-Out for lunch.
With all our bellies full, we got back on the road. About an hour later is when Idiot Boy decided to stir things up. Remember that episode of the Simpsons where their dog is riding in the back seat, notices the window is down just a crack, and somehow manages to ooze out the tiny opening in order to escape? Well, Bernie decided to reenact that. He was pacing around the back seat, then stood with his front paws on the armrest, where his unerring instinct for mayhem caused him to stand on the window button, which made it start rolling down. Diane was driving, and I was dozing in the passenger seat. As soon as the window started coming down, we realized what had happened, and I whirled around and grabbed Bernie’s harness, which made him jump forward and partly out the window. I was hanging onto him for dear life, and yelled to Di to roll the window up, which she did, but now Bernie’s head was stuck and he couldn’t pull it back in, causing him to thrash around in a panic. Bernie was flailing, Di was trying to drive straight without going into a panic, and I was swearing like the drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket. It took a few seconds before Bernie could yank his head back in, by which time all of us were completely freaked out. After we all got our pulse rates back below 200, we went on with the journey – this time with the window controls firmly locked from the driver’s seat!
Once we made it to Carmel, we let the mutts run around on the beach, which was blissfully emptier than the summer crowd Bernie singlehandedly devastated last July. We ate at Portabella, one of our favorite dog-friendly restaurants in town, where Linda sat next to us and stared at our plates. And the more hopeful she got, the more she anticipated, and it just got wetter and more slobbery from there…
We went to Carmel Beach this morning, where Bernie did his best to set some shallow water speed records…
… and did some more Linda annoying…
…and occasionally managed a dramatic pose against the morning sky.
Then we walked around town for most of the day. Bernie even managed to stand still long enough to pose for the occasional photo. He mostly cooperated, although you could see the gears turning in his evil little mind as he watched and plotted…
He sort of behaved himself, although he didn’t hesitate to try shoplifting treats from the bins on the floor of the local dog store, and he went scuba diving in a local fountain. I took some video of that which may or may not show up here, since this is my first attempt at posting a movie…

And after all was said and done, he still managed to show mom a little love…
So I have to admit, I’m torn about what to believe. I’d like to think this is a sign of incipient maturity, that maybe he’s growing up a little. But my gut instincts tell me that this recent tolerable behavior was a fluke, or a diversion to get my guard down. If you’re going to be in Mill Valley on Saturday, I’d still approach with caution. Just because a bin Laden puts on a temporary show of goodness doesn’t mean he’s turned over a new leaf…
what an adventure!! can't wait for the next episode....we really think CBS needs to pick this up for the fall season!

Haaaahaaaaahaaaa! What a fun time! That one photo of Bernie with Linda on the beach makes him look pawsitively prim and proper, almost royal. Ah, if only dreams could come true.
We wish we were there. But didn't you know there was a tsunami warning?
