I found this posted written letter this morning on fb and thought I would share it.....Hope the link works. Apologies if this has already been posted someplace else in the past....
Love,
Bonnie, Angel Polly, and new crew
I saw it .. made me cry! Made me stop and think about how I am not 'present' with Jasper at night but on my computer when she's trying to play and all the times I did the same to Shelby ... "one more day".... Oh how I wish...
Thank you for sharing!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Lovely Bonnie! THANK YOU!
I still get Happy Hannah's Bark Box once a month. Couldn't stand "cancelling" it.....didn't like the "finality" of that act. Needless to say, it still goes to gokd use around here. I tell Merry Myrtle, "Look what Happy Hannah se t you!"
Yeah, I love the posts and pics that are on the Bark Box newsletter.
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That was lovely. I really do like to sit with Sammie and just stare at her. She's so beautiful and I pet her and tell her she doesn't know just how beautiful she is and that she's such a good girl. She looks at me and goes back to sleep, ha!
Guess whose banner is at the top of my screen? My baby girl, Libby! Her spirit is hanging around in here today more than usual.
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Bonnie,
We really need a tissue alert...
This letter brought tears to my eyes and I'm hoping nobody needs to speak with me since I'm at work.
It's so poignant and true!! We just need to take time from the business of our human lives to sit on the floor with our precious furbabies and enjoy these special moments.
Hugs
