Well if that doesn't keep her out of the bathroom, I don't know what will. That was NOT easy and I think my stress made it harder because I was so worried she would either faint or get hurt because she HATES baths so hopefully we will never do that again. She is still shaking but I suspect that is because she is still really cold/damp - I can't get her fully dry since I don't want to turn on a dryer and she has a lot of undercoating that just stays damp. I have wrapped her in towels and turned no the heater for her (not hurt since if I say cookie, she runs and plays). I got in the shower w/her and basically showered her.
Her "I'll murder you in your sleep tonight" look. FLUFFY again!!! From yesterday - she would NOT look at the camera/phone but she had a great walk and smelled lots of roses and basically was being a dog!Off to see if I can dry her some more ... Happy Saturday!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Alison, I always LOVE to see sweet Shelby in pictures...what a precious face! Shelby taking a shower is almost a bit humorous, but I'm guessing she does NOT agree. My one Lab, Duchess, was funny like that, she absolutely loved the water and swam all the time, but if she had to go out in the rain, forget it! I had to take her out under an umbrella just to get her to potty. Shelby probably hates the water falling on her, just a bit scary for her, I'm sure. She will be back to herself in no time, though.
Have a great Saturday, as well....
Love and hugs,

Mission accomplished! She looks clean and fluffy from here. I'm sure she smells nice too.

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
