Just a quick note to say that Barney has finished his trip down under and he is still intact!!!!! Just gotta figure out what has happened to his dress!!
You can read all about his adventures in my blog which goes on and on and on.... (there are 3 chapters)..... http://princess.....pawds.com/
What do you expect from a spirit dog? I have all of eternity on my paws now so plenty of time to write (in between mischief making at rainbow bridge of course).
I am embarrassed to admit that Barney has grown on me. He is the most stupid, arrogant, colourful looking stuffed toy I’ve ever seen. But he makes me laugh and he makes my pack laugh.
I always loved to be silly with my pack, laughing with them and basking in their love. After all the tears and heartache it makes me so very happy to see them finally being silly again.
Good riddance Barney..... it's been fun!
lots of love, kisses and cuddles
Spirit Magnum (with lots of help from sister MB Ruby)
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
Thanks for sharing this here Spirit Magnum, I was just about to do that! I can't even begin to tell you how much your and Ruby's adventures with Barney meant to us over here in the States. To think that the little beast could take your pack to places they've never been, and bring the lightheartedness that you all really needed after coping with sadness for so long, well, that's pretty amazing for a little toy.
Thank you for being such a great host and the wonderful tour of your homeland. Momma's already bugging Dad for a plane ticket to see it some more!
xoxo
P.S. I'm SO glad Ruby's lumps were B9!!!

Those pictures brought back some memories. I had the pleasure of visiting Australia on two occasions and it was just a wonderful experience both times. It was nice to see the pics of those places and things again.
It sounds like Barney brought you and your crew some happy times. That is so amazing. So glad you enjoyed his visit and shared your experiences with all of us.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Love the smiling pics of the pups. MB Ruby looks so happy!!!
Off to read the final installment. I've really enjoyed the pics of the places Barney has visited. Some day we'll make it there...
Jackie, Angel Abby & MBBunny Rita's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
