we had a lovely holiday even though we hada rough couple of days with Dizzy when we feared the worst as she wouldn't eat or drink. She had a couple of days rest and was back to normal so we put it down to been a bouncy bossy madam when we went to the beach with friends and their dogs there were 15 dogs all together. she is still doing ok. I have posted picture in my blog if you wanted to see them. http://gilliana.....pawds.com/
Also wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped liked our pictures on facebook in the competitions we did ok and won ticktes to crufts (a big dog show) and a voucher for some money off a new bed.
we have had over 9 months with a 3 legged dizzy and i am thankful for every day we have had so far. dogs are amazing and they just get on with it.
this is the current competition and you can vote every 24 hours

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Great fun!!!! Glad you had a wonderful "holiday" (I love that word - opposed to our dull "vacation" word!)
Please tell me that some pics are broken links on your blog because I see some broken link pics. I just want to make sure it's not me with all the changes around here!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
What a pretty spot! Where was that?
I think a holiday with 15 dogs sounds like paradise! Looks like you had a blast, I'm glad the sun came out for you.
She probably didn't want to eat because she was just pooped! Glad things are OK now.
K, I'm going to go vote now! Please keep reminding us.
