So glad to hear it's all good now! Thoughts of pawsitive thoughts coming Phoebe's way for quick healing!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Sweet dreams Phoebe, we are sending you lots of love. Glad you're home.

Tons of good thoughts for Phoebe.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
We are sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers Phoebe's way. Did the doctor feel like he got it all?

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
I can never thank you guys enough for the prayers, positive energy and good thoughts. Yep, Elizabeth, he feels confident he got it all. He said she didn't lose too much blood....that's always a good thing. (I had Shelby on standby in case the need for transfusions arose) She's home now, acting like she doesn't understand why she has to suffer the indignity of being in an ex-pen away from her pack.
Love, love, love this girl.
So many here worry about the pain of amputation only to find that the pain of cancer was so much worse, so the dogs sail through the amputation. Dakota was not in pain, so we didn't benefit that way. And Chloe likely wasn't in pain, either. I'm glad my dogs don't talk, but sometimes I wish they could understand everything I say. At times like these, it would be a blessing.
What is her recovery supposed to be like? How long will she need to rest, when can she go for walks, etc? Keep us posted on sweet Chloe.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Hi Shari.................well, still no pathology report but apparently Miss Phoebe did not get the memo that she's supposed to be *recuperating*. She's in the ex-pen with Shelby....it's hard to explain without a photo (which, of course, I can't seem to figure out how to post on here), but she's got Shelby cradled in her front legs and is *grooming* her.
We're doing leash walks outside to go potty, but I honestly think if it were up to Pheebs, she'd be tearing around the yard, playing Bitey Face with Farley and the rest of her pack.
I am very blessed.....I so love this girl.
Yay! Good news.
We were at the vet for our last chemo today and our oncologist, who is preparing for a conference in Paris, was mentionig that b/c they tend not to spay females in Europe they see a lot more of the mammary tumors. Not sure how/if that is helpful to you, except that if you are one to go online and read things you might want to look in the UK. Since we just had this conversation today, I figured I'd throw it out there.
Best wishes for Phoebe's speedy (but not too rowdy) recovery
Hey, how's the Phebester today? I hope she's doing well and staying calmer than yesterday.
