The house has been quiet since Max passed away, and his Monkeybutt brother Sammy has been super-lonely. When Doggy Dad gets home from work, Sammy has been hiding under the coffee table and we literally have to yank him out in order to get him to eat. So we ended up at the Humane Society to see if there was anybody who needed us, and lo and behold, we just happened to find somebody!

Lloyd is a Cardigan Corgi mix, 3 months old. DD and I have always talked about getting a corgi, and we definitely lucked out (and so did he!). The name is a nod to his Welsh heritage, and happens to be one of the few Welsh names that has vowels in it, LOL!

So far he's doing great at home, Sammy is a little suspicious but they're getting along just fine and even sharing squeaky toys!

Now we just need to get Lloyd some bunny ears and an eyepatch, and he'll be all set to go 😉

OMD, I LOVE him. (except for the fact that he might work for the Monkeybutt....)

My sis has a cardigan corgi named Llewelyn, we call him Lou for short, and he is such a sweet pea.

We trade dog sitting, so when short Lou and long legged Abby get together we call them Stubbs and Stilts.

I'm so excited for you, Lloyd is just way too cute! Can't wait to hear more of his adventures.
All the best,
Jackie, Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Angel Cooper here... agreeing with everypawdy about not needing any additional forces on the monkeydog front. It is soon to be found that not all quadpawds are monkeydawgs, as will be evidenced now that my little brother was born yesterday and will be with my mom and dad in about 8 weeks , his allegiance is with the tripawds as I have been coaching him up until his birth. Lloyd, you are one cute little guy, maybe in 8 weeks you can meet up with my little bro and become the newest member in the faction of the quadpawd tripawd support group. WHAT a cute guy!

Welcome Lloyd!

It is wonderful how these pups find us at just the right time.

Nothing says he has to me a MD- my quads are on the Tripawd side- the side of goodness, light, and the most snacks.
