This is making the rounds on the FB right now ... someone personally sent it to me and I didn't want to read/watch it but I did with tears streaming down my eyes. It reminded me of the bond I have / had with Shelby. Don't get me wrong - I love little Jasper for all that she is but our love was complicated and thoughtful ... looking back... the love with Shelby was always there... love at first site.. love of my life... my soul mate ... my heart dog.
Watch with tissues (you've been warned)... but I think this story rings true for ALL of us here!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Such a beautiful film and I love how it's from Denali point of view. It had me in tears and hugging Lucian.
Thanks for sharing since I'm not a part of Facebook.
Hugs
