Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

I'm glad to hear someone else saw the movie and felt like I did. I had to keep the lights off, volume up, and sit with my back to the wife the entire show (not my normal M.O. 
I thought it was a beautiful story and on the "Hallmark Channel too" Oh my I think I surely need to go have my "T" checked

Man from Nantucket? Then what? He lost his bait bucket? There was a nuclear bomb and he failed to duck it? The horse stable was dirty and he didn't muck it? The goal was there and he neglected to puck it? He had a bumper sticker and so he stuck it? His zipper was open so he had to tuck it? Comet, you are an anomaly. Yeah. Fortis' Dad: I know! Arctic grayling are the best ever for flyfishing. So beautiful, yet so not tasty unless you flip them from the river into the pan over the fire. I get so mad when folks come into fish and game and ask why we don't stock rainbow trout in the streams. UGH! Alaska is the only state that still has truly wild populations. Why? Why? Why? well, well well, miss smarty pants Monkeyface ... shows how much you know! I have never been in jail because I am a good dog. And if you are referring to the week I spent on the landing, well that wasnt jail , that was my ICU - recovery only. hey..... speaking of reading...
