Well as everyone knows Friday was Halloween and Bella goes into the bedroom and hides and Gracie wants to be in my skin... well I thought she's wearing her wings if she's going to be in my skin...
I miss everyone and I think everyday what I could have done differently. It eats me alive, I have a bond with Bailey Girl like no other and I still just want her back.
Gracie is a sweetheart the way she loves me it's like she knows she was guided to me for a purpose... I sincerely believe that in my heart... she's doing her best Bailey Girl!
Love and tight hugs... (tears) I miss everyone!
Tracy, Bailey Girl, Bella and Gracie... (my husband just said I thought about Stella...) to be continued!
Here's to Halloween 2014 with Gracie (Angel Bailey Girl watching carefully!)
(1) OK... here we go... little people everywhere... not sure about the little minions... please go away! (Lil growl here!)... (2) This front step is way too steep for little girls!... (3) OK the little people are scaring me and I had to go outside! What are they?... (4) I simply refuse to take more pictures! (notice she turned her back on me and is looking into the house ha ha)... (5) Will you please take that thing off my head!... (6) Being a guard dog is a lot of hard work... I had to step over her after 7:30p.m. she did not wake up with the little trick or treat kids!
Oh Tracy she is so precious. I get what you say about the bond with Bailey...it is like no other. We spent so much time caring for our babies that we knew all the intricacies and they knew ours. I don't think it is possible to ever have again. Maybe I don't want to think so because it hurts so damn bad. Keep up the good work!
Oh My Goodness....I just LOVE all the pictures of Gracie!! The first set your friend did look AMAZING and to get Gracie to pose is unbelievable for 15 weeks old. I try to get some pictures of Lucian but I have to be fast on the button because he doesn't stay in one spot for too long. Especially when he sees the camera in my hands...it's like he knows he can drive me crazy trying to get a nice shot.
Anyway, you could never share too many pictures. Gracie is a beautiful little girl and it will be fun watching her grow up.
And we all know that Gracie could never replace sweet Bailey in your heart just like my Lucian can never replace Leland...but they will carve out there own place within us. You just hold tight to your Saving Grace and she'll get you through this.
Hugs

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
Ohhhhh thank you so much for posting these! She is just perfect, she will help you in so many ways. Of course she will never take Bailey's place, but she will help heal your heart and find her own special place within it. I'm so happy for you both!
P.S. Where did you get the angel costume? It's adorable!

Thank you for all the sweet posts. Let's say Gracie did not want to cooperate... the apple basket photo took probable 25 times put her in she would jump out... put her in she would jump out lol! Then she got really playful and decided she was something else to stand on top of the basket when she nosed it over!
It was a fun day and a little cloudy but my friend Paula said perfect for photos outside. Gracie is one funny girl.
Ohhh and the costume was $3.99 the halo and wings in my pictures from home... a place called Celebrate the Season was opened for Halloween but I did notice that WalMart had them also. They were not a dog costume. The wings Paula had I'm not sure where she got those but the halo was ours in the pictures she took. So simply but fit her perfectly!
HUGS,
Tracy, Bailey Girl, Bella and Gracie
PRECIOUS!!!!!!!! Cute does not even begin to describe her. I just love the 3 rd picture. Her with her wings kind of looking with her head tilted. We have a horse named Gracie, I call her Gracie May. Amazing Grace, what a perfect name. Hugs from, Lori and TY
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Let's all go to Tracy's house next year for Halloween!! Looks like a fun place to be! You really have done a nice job decorating!
So glad you posted and shsred these ADORABLE pictures!!!
I know you grieve so for Bailey. You did EVERYTHING humanly possible for her...EVERYTHING!! In time you'll come to realize that. You'll realize tha there is very little that can be done against this cruel and vicious crap disease.
You'll also realize that, while you have Bailey's great legacy of love and courage and gentleness to carry on, Stella Grace has a role in your life too...and you in hers! Her immediate role is to make you laugh. And I think it pleases Bailey a lot to see you laugh!!
Gracie is "over the top" cute!! And she has gynormous laws!!! Keep these cute pics coming! We love her!
We are still here with you kiddo!
HUGS, TIGHT HUGS!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I am so thankful for all my tripawd family and I always lean hard on here. I stayed away for awhile and had a hard time coming back but I felt like I really needed to help others like everyone has me.
Today I finally left the house and we went to Target to get the girl pajamas... (yes, Bella and Gracie!) If you have Target by you $8.99 pjs for dogs/cats and they go to XL which fit Bella at 163 even though it says 150+. As soon as I can get pictures I will post them.
When we came home in the mail was a card from the Humane Society that a donation was made in Bailey's name. Here's the card. Yes, tears are flowing and I come running... I just want can't get a grip on it. Gracie looks so much like Bailey (but I will have to say Gracie is a little stinker... into everything...) I hope my wonderful tripawd family are doing well I am extremely thankful for you.
LOVE AND TIGHT HUGS,
Tracy and Bailey Girl
P.S. Sally anyone is welcome here anytime... I was home by myself on Halloween so it would have been wonderful to have you here! We could have shared all the extra candy... but I did manage to eat it within a couple of days. My decorations are simple... craft fair wood cutouts... nothing I can claim I made! Have had them for almost 12 years! (just repainted pieces here and there!) But thank you again, I miss you! <3
Hey Tracy! I would have mega tears too, what a generous gift!
You know you are always welcome to come back no matter how long you've been away. It's so important to heal yourself first, that's the only way that you can heal others some day, so take as much time as your heart needs.
I hope everything else is going really great. We have GOT to see the girls in their jammies. Way cute!

I'm so glad that you were able to come back and update us. I've been wondering how you and Bella and little Miss Gracie have been doing.
You know we all LOVE seeing pictures of your beautiful girls and I can't wait to see them in pj's. I had no idea such a thing was even made.
I hope you and your family can have a nice Thanksgiving...it's just next week (where has the time gone...). I'm sure the holidays will be full of ups and downs (I know they will for me without my Leland around) but we both have our pups that have found their way to our homes to be thankful for.
Know that you'll be in my thoughts over the upcoming holidays.
Sending you and your family HUGS!

Oh Tracey, I have not seen the PJs at our Target, but I am going to look online. Lucy would look Hilarious in them. Do they have boy ones? I actually do need to get poor Daryl a coat. Between being from down South and being on the thin side ( which, BTW the vet was thrilled to see) I think actually because my other 2 are so fat LOL. He seems to get cold easier. $8.99, you cannot beat the price. Hugs from, Lori and TY

I have some bad news. I lost my Dad to cancer last Thursday, December 4th. I feel like just when I try to climb that mountain another knocks me down. Notice where I'm at again. Right where my heart and support is... my connection to Bailey Girl. His wake is this Wednesday and his funeral is Thursday, just not sure how I am going to do this. The holidays are here and I'm not ready but we have each other right! <3
OK, so I did say I was going to send pictures. Well on 11/29/14 my daughter was surprised with a pup... so yes we are a three dog family and Bella thinks we were out of our mind and I'm sure Bailey Girl is doing a happy dance laughing that someone is harassing Bella. My friend had a pictures with Santa up at Rosie's Daycare and invited me up for a photo shoot with the new baby and our furry family on 11/30/14... so here you go!
Here you go cute alert!
Gracie (4 months at 62 pounds)
Diesel (7 weeks) and
Miss. Bella (10 on Dec. 10th a beautiful full figured girl at 163.)
Hope you enjoyed these pictures of the pups. Gracie Girl is shaking her head at me... and laughing at Bella for what she has to put up with, after all she asked for it.
Love and tight hugs,
Tracy, Bailey Girl, Bella, Gracie and Diesel
P.S. and to all a good night. Bailey Girl RIP Sweet Angel (Bailey Girl's First Christmas!)
OOHHHH. DEAR. SWEEET TRACEY! WOW KIDDO....a lot going on....a whole roller coaster of emotions coming through your post.
And yoj ALWAYS belong here....you...Bailey...Bella...Grace...and now Diesel!!! I know I speak for everyone when I say wevew all been thinking about you and hoping....hoping.....doing a lot of serious hoping...that Bailey was bringing some joy back in y our lofe with Gracie. And without auestion, she has! These pictures....OMD.......cantw get enough of your pack!!
Please, please know how very sorry I am your Dad's earthly journey has ended. I KNOW Bailey Girl was their to greet him with slobbery kisses and huge Great Dane hugs! And to know they both are free from pain and enjoying long walks together through meadows kissed with the warmth of the sun.
My Dad crossed over completely unexpectedly at the age of 49 just a few days before Christmas. Most recently, I jad tonhelp my senior "puppy" Bodie transition just a few days before Christmas last year. I'm not one to want to "remember" these kinds of dates....that's just me....but crossovers at Christmas time...yeah...kinda hard to ignore that!
I'm actually getting to a point.....I surround myself....I mean like a clutter knick knack freak kind of "surround myself" with any photo, ornament, decorations, etc. that warm my heart with happy memories of my lpved ones at Christmas. I remind myself of all the wonderful holidays we DID have together and how I would not trade them for the world!! My dogs love the holiday season....my dad loved it.....and to NOT remember all the great times...nope...not gonna dishonor them by being in a funk! Up until the day my Mom passed away at 83, I got her a Christmas remembrance present "from Dad". In her things, she had a box .marked..."To Sally.....Love, Mom and Dad"....yeah, it had many of those "presents" ......
Every year since her passing, Ive made a small ontribution to honor her at Christmas time to the shelter Mom adoped Bodie from. I'll make a small contribution to Tripawds this month fro me to honor Bodie...yeah...he was an official Tripawd Supporter as Happy Hannah's best friend!
So start a "tradition" this year to honor your Dad and to honor Bailey.....something that warms your heart.
HOLY MOLY!!! Getting awful k y nostalgic over here!
Back to these wonderful fun pictures of your extraordinary good looking pack!!! BEAUTIFUL DOGS!!! These dogs were born to be runway models!!!
Cannot believe how comfortable they look...completely at ease....as if they are "one with Santa Claus"!!!!
Gracie in her Santa hat....soooo cute....looking like an exhausted kid who has worn herself out and can barely keep her eyes open...but doesn't want to miss a thing!! And half laying on Santa's lap, but such a big puppy, she can't fit all of her sweet self in his lap.....PRICELESS!!
And Sweet Bella....the one where she is looking at him so intently.....it looks like she's telling him what she wants for Christmas!!!
And then you have Diesel in Santa's boot...OMD.....the cuteness knows no limits with this pack! He is THE cutest thing! And like all the others, completely unfazed!
And in every single picture Santa is grinning ear to ear...and its SO genuine!! He's loving these dogs!!!
Thank you for sharing these delightful picturw with us. I know your emotions are all over the place...and rightfully so. Looks like Bailey..and your Dad too...knew you would need a lot to make you smile and laugh now....thus TWO puppies! OMD!!! TWO PUPPIES!! I'm sure Bella is wondering what the heck you guys were thinking!!! I'm sure she's loving being their Life Coach though.....and all of them are being yours!!!
Thank you for connecting with us. Yes, we are ALWAYS here for you...good times...less good times.....don't stay away...we u derstand and love you!
TIGHT.......TIGHT.......TIGHT.......TIGHT.......TIGHT.........TIGHT...........TIGHT.........(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((//(HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Oh Tracy, I am so sorry about your Dad. I can't imagine the depth of your grief right now, that is way too much for even the strongest person to cope with, I'm really sorry. But oh how I know your furry kids are going to help you through this, just look at them, pure joy and they give you a million great reasons to get up in the morning and live life to the fullest as your Dad and Bailey would want. The photos are just adorable.
Again, my condolences, I"m so sorry. Like Sally mentioned, you are always, always welcome and loved here. Once a Tripawds family member, always. We surround you with a collective hug tonight and into the coming week as you cope with the services.
